Combined with the grasp of solar activity, the prediction given by space weather is that strong geomagnetic activity may occur in the next three days. From the night of the 10th to the night of the 11th, a geomagnetic storm may occur, and if no new eruptive activity occurs, a small to moderate magnetic storm may occur on the 12th, and then gradually return to calm.

Once a geomagnetic storm occurs, under the influence of the geomagnetic storm, the orbital altitude of the space station may decrease due to atmospheric dragging, and the positioning error of satellite navigation equipment will increase.

A few hours after the start of the geomagnetic storm, the ionosphere will be significantly disturbed, and the TEC will change significantly, which will have a certain impact on the accuracy of on-orbit target detection, such as skywave radar detection.

Note to RTK users: The fixation rate will be affected during a geomagnetic storm, and the main time is between 12 noon and 3 pm. During the geodetic magnetic storm, try to avoid this period of operation, and arrange the field time reasonably to avoid mistakes.
