Eagle Owl [diāo xiāo] (scientific name: Bubo bubo): Also known as eagle owl. It is a nocturnal bird of prey with a strong and curved beak and a mouth-based wax film covered by a hard whisker. There are distinct ear-like tufts around the perforation of the ear, which help to distinguish between sound and nighttime localization at night. The thorax body feathers are often marked.
