Tortoise Meng (?-c. 881), courtesy name Lu Wang, self-proclaimed Tian suizi, Jianghu Sanren, and Mr. Fuli, was a native of Changzhou (present-day Suzhou, Jiangsu Province), a poet, writer, agronomist, and Taoist scholar of the Tang Dynasty.
Tortoise Mengju was not the first to enter the army, and served as a staff member of the History of the Assassination of Hu and Su Erzhou. He later lived in seclusion in Songjiang Fuli (present-day Luzhi, Wu County, Jiangsu).
Lu Shi pursues Boao's sinister style, the style is strange and simple, and the seven are more refreshing. There are many works of writing scenery and poetry, but there are also works of indignation at the world and worries about the people, such as "Nine Songs of Miscellaneous Irony" and "Two Chapters of Village Night". Lu Wen is better than poetry, and "Four Houses of Endowment" and "Ascending Tonwen" are all cynical works of the time of worry. The essay is written idly and chic, and it is a family of its own. Mainly included in the "Kasawa Series", the reality is highly targeted, and the discussion is also quite precise, such as "Wild Temple Monument" and "Remembering Rice Rats". He is the author of "The Book of Qi", "Records of Wu Xing", "Small List", etc., which are included in the "Collected Works of Mr. Tang Fuli".
Tortoise Meng's "Book of The Book of Qi" is a monograph describing agricultural tools in the Jiangnan region at the end of the Tang Dynasty in China. In today's parlance, Tortoise Meng is an excellent peasant poet and agricultural expert!
Tortoise Meng was a tea lover, and as an expert in agronomy, he opened a tea garden under Guzhu Mountain (Guzhu Mountain is a famous tea-producing area) in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, and collected tea rent every year, dividing it into various grades. Lu Yu, the author of the "Tea Classic", and Jiaoran, the author of the "Tea Recipe", discussed tea in that year, and Gu Zhu was the first. Deeply influenced by his predecessors, Tortoise Meng tasted tea in this kind of tea, and wrote a tea treatise "Pin Di Shu" (that is, the legendary "Tea Book"), but unfortunately, like Kyaukran's "Tea Recipe", it has been lost.
When Pi Rixiu arrived in Suzhou, he met tortoise Meng, and the two became confidants from then on, leaving behind many anecdotes and poems to sing and sing, Pi Rixiu wrote ten "Miscellaneous Songs in Tea", and Tortoise Meng and a group of "Ten Songs of Bong He Attacking the United States Tea Set" (Pi RiXiu character attacking the United States). The "Ten Songs" include ten poems such as Tea Dock, Tea Man, Tea Basket, Tea Basket, Tea House, Tea Stove, Tea Roasting, Tea Ding, Tea Ou, and Tea Boiling, some of which are not found in Lu Yu's "Tea Classic" and can be studied in contrast.

Tortoise Meng completed the transformation of identity, broke away from the scholar class, and became a real farmer and fisherman. Therefore, his poetry is like a breeze in the midst of a sluggish atmosphere in the late Tang Dynasty, and the bone needle stone looks so different; in front of those vulgar officials, it is even more absurd, arrogant and uninhibited.
In the Tang Dynasty, where poetry is as splendid as the Hanhai Galaxy and poets are as poetic as a long sky, there is also a poet who has become a farmer and fisherman, quietly living in the fireworks of the human world for cultivation and fishing, and also reclusive in the natural fragrance of tea.
With its tea and poetry, tortoise Meng left the unique style of the first person of tea to future generations.
