Japanese Folk Tales: Robes and Shengyuan

When Yuanfu returned, he heard that his mother was embarrassed, and had to agree to meet with Sheng Yuan for one night.

After a night, Sheng Yuan was inseparable, and even drew his sword to signal the killing of his husband, hoping to be a long-term couple with Yuanfu.

Yuanfu was helpless, pretending to make a trick with Sheng Yuan to kill her husband: she would wash her husband's hair when she returned, and then get drunk. Sheng Yuan went to the night, and touched the wet hair.

That night, Sheng Yuan really touched the wet hair's head and cut it off according to the plan.

I thought I was done, but when I went back to examine the head, I found that I had wrongly killed my lover!

It turned out that after the robes drunk her husband, she helped him to rest in the inner room. Instead, he had wet hair and men's clothes and lay outside to die. Sheng Yuan rode in the darkness and acted according to the plan, killing the robes that were bent on death.

Afterwards, ShengYuan found her husband, explained the beginning and end, and asked the other party to kill him, which was wronged. However, the other party did not make a move, but instead advised him to convert to cultivation, repent deeply, and exceed his robes.

Sheng Yuan became a monk and became a famous monk of a generation.
