Langya, ancient lang evil. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Lang evil was the main city and port of the State of Qi (in present-day Langyatai). In the third year of the reign of King Yuan of Zhou (473 BC), the state of Yue moved to Lang evil. After Qin unified the country in 221 BC, the eastern coastal area of Qi qi set up Lang evil county, with jurisdiction over Langya, Buqi, Jimo, Qianxi and other counties, and the county ruled Lang evil.
In the seventh year of the reign of Emperor Han Gao (Lü Yan) (181 BC), Lü Hou analyzed the langya county of Qi as the state of Langya, and Liu Ze, the marquis of The Ancestral Emperor of Han Gao, was made the king of Langya from The Marquis of Zukundi, and the capital of Langya, in present-day Zhucheng, Shandong, was named Dongwu because of the Dongwu Mountains in its territory. At the same time, the territory is juxtaposed with counties, Pyeongchang County, Heng County, Chang County, and Shiquan County. After Lü Yan's death, Liu Ze conspired with Liu Xiang the Prince of Qi to kill Zhu Lü, and together with the generals in Chang'an, Liu Heng was made emperor. In the first year of emperor Wen of Han (179 BC), Emperor Wen was jealous of supporting King Qi and created Liu Ze the King of Yan. Liu Ze migrated to the throne of Yan, and the state of Langya was removed, and its land was returned to Qi.
In the fifteenth year of the Eastern Han Dynasty (39), Liu Xiu's son Liu Jing was given the title of Duke of Langya. In the seventeenth year of Jianwu (41), the state of Langya was re-established, and Liu Jingjin was made the king of Langya. Since then, Lang Evil County has been changed to Lang Evil Kingdom, and the capital has been established in Ju. It has jurisdiction over thirteen cities such as Langya.
In the fifth year of the founding of the country (80), Liu Jing wrote to Emperor Zhang of Han that he was willing to exchange the five counties of Hua, Gai, Nanwuyang, Houqiu, and Ganyu in the langya state for Kaiyang and Linyi in Donghai County, and moved the capital from Jucheng to Kaiyang (located in present-day Linyi City). Therefore, linyi's name of lang evil began at this time.
The state of Langya has a vast territory, many counties, high taxes, gorgeous palaces, a strong capital, and an important military position. During the early Ping period of the Han Xian Emperor (190-193), the State of Langya was abolished and the state was established for more than 150 years.

From the beginning of the Northern and Southern Dynasties to the fall of the Northern Song Dynasty (420-1127), more than 700 years later, Linyi was langxian county.
