On June 11, Beijing Huachen 2021 Spring Auction Exhibition and Press Conference was held at Beijing Huachen Art Center. This season's Spring Auction will present two special sessions of traditional Chinese art and modern and contemporary art, a number of small topics, and a total of more than 100 lots will be unveiled at the auction. Ming Dynasty Qian Gu, Zhou Tianqiu's calligraphy and painting masterpieces lead the Chinese calligraphy and painting plate, Qing Yongzheng imitation Ru glaze bowl made a heavy appearance in the porcelain plate, Yu Ben, Lin Hongji, Sha Qi, Guan Liang and other famous works will appear in the modern and contemporary art special.
Qian Gu and Zhou Tianqiu's "Winter Landscape" vertical axis
This season's auction of Chinese paintings and calligraphy is led by Qian Gu and Zhou Tianqiu's calligraphy and paintings. The painting part of this work was completed by Qian Gu, a famous calligrapher and painter of the Ming Dynasty, who created a "Winter Landscape" in the style of Song and Yuan paintings. The calligraphy part of the work was completed by another Ming Dynasty calligrapher and painter, Zhou Tianqiu, who wrote the "Snow Fu" by the Southern and Northern Dynasties writer Xie Huilian, and the text content echoed the scene of the picture.

The modern and contemporary art special session opened with four masterpieces by Yu Ben, Lin Hongji, Sha Qi and Guan Liang, and among the red theme creations, Yin Chaoyang's large-scale "Tiananmen Square" in 2006 was the most eye-catching. The painting is a large area of red, depicting the spectacular scene of Tiananmen Square. In addition, Zhou Xiaoyu and the famous military painter Wang Xiaobai co-created the major revolutionary historical theme oil painting "March to Jinggangshan" in 1971, which is also an important work in the special topic.
