According to Malaysia's Shihua Daily, Ms. Rui Chan Yun Ying, a 101-year-old Chinese in Malaysia, completed the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination and encouraged her children and grandchildren to be brave in vaccination, and her actions also greatly improved the confidence of other elderly people in vaccination.

Chen Yunying, who lives on Abdul Rahman Road in Muar, Johor, Malaysia, was accompanied by her youngest son, Wong Sai Fai, to the vaccination centre set up at the Mahalani Auditorium in Muar to administer the second dose of Pfizer vaccine.

After Chen Yunying finished vaccination, she went home and ate the sponge cake she loved, and her mood and appetite were good.

Huang Shihui revealed that his mother received the first dose of the vaccine on May 3, and was arranged to receive the second dose of the vaccine on the morning of the 24th, and did not feel unwell the whole time, and after returning home, her appetite and spirit were good, which made her family feel at ease.

He said that his mother was old, but in good health and free of movement, unable to go out to eat and drink tea with her family during the epidemic, which made the extroverted mother miss the scenery outside and would clamor for her family to drive her out for a ride.

"After the vaccination program began, my mother also asked us to help her register for vaccination, and encouraged her children and grandchildren to be brave enough to register and protect themselves and their families."

Chen Yunying has 4 boys and 5 daughters, dozens of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her husband Huang Wenda died many years ago as a primary school teacher in Malacca Asha Hanhua.
