The tourbillon, originally invented by Mr. Breguet to combat the influence of gravity on the movement, has become a symbol in the field of watchmaking because of its intricate construction and beautiful operating posture - for fine watchmaking, the tourbillon seems to mean a door, a temple, and only watchmaking brands with extremely high watchmaking craftsmanship can personally present it in timepiece works. And above this temple, there is a higher staircase, the ultra-thin tourbillon, which is such an extreme time wheel dance.

In 2009, Jaeger-Le-Roco-Le-Fi launched the Master Tourbillon Tourbillon Tourbillon tourbillon, which featured the Calibre 978 and won the prize in the International Astronomical Chronograph Competition held at the Lilock Watch Museum in Switzerland. Since then, this movement has become the backbone of the Jaeger-LeCoultre tourbillon movement, and in 2019 it underwent a subversive and innovative design with a new high-end finish. Based on calibre 978, Jaeger-LeCoultre engineers have developed a new Calibre 983 for the Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon Moon Tourbillon Ultra Master Series Tourbillon, which adds the moon phase and "instantaneous" date complications.
The triple moon phase indication showing the age of the moon (i.e. the number of moon phase days) and the moon phases of the northern and southern hemispheres is also a recent development of the Big Workshop, which was officially incorporated into the movement function last year. The new Calibre 983 has a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and a power reserve of 45 hours.

The mystery of carving time
Breguet Classic 5395 ultra-thin tourbillon skeleton watch
The inner quality is often the mystery of some works that really lasts for eternity. Breguet Classic 5395 ultra-thin tourbillon skeleton watch is undoubtedly among them. This time, breguet ultra-thin 581 calibre is used for the first time in a completely hollowed-out design structure, which is a contemporary interpretation of this inherited technique. Behind its technical achievements is a series of complex commissioning. In the case of the tourbillon, thanks to a complete redesign, the tourbillon frame made of titanium meshes directly with the gear train, rather than using the bottom gear as a medium.
In addition, Breguet has achieved a reduction of nearly 50% of the movement material without affecting the structure, and the hollow design of the 18-carat gold movement with a thickness of only 3 mm can be described as breaking through the limits, reminiscent of the true essence of breguet watchmaking masters. The use of hand engraving, engraving and chamfering make the watch even more outstanding.
