Before introducing this person, let's take a look at the following photo -
The one in the middle, everyone should know, is the famous Fang Zhimin, on the left is Liu Yuxi, the commander of the Red Tenth Army, and on the right is Wang Ruyi, chief of staff of the Nineteenth Division of the Red Tenth Army.
Please note that this Red Tenth Army, there is also a chief of staff more famous than the commander, that is, the founding general Su Yu, and the commander of the Nineteenth Division is called Xun Huaizhou, who was the youngest commander of the Red Army (Red Seventh Army), and his talent is no less than That Ofu Yu.
These people, the history inn has been introduced before, today to see the same legendary Wang Ruyi.
Born in 1903 in Qidong County, Hengyang, Hunan Province, Wang Ruyi joined the revolution in 1926, held a high position in the Red Army for a long time, served as the commander and political commissar of the Red Tenth Army, the political commissar of the Red Eleventh Army, and the political commissar of the Red Thirteenth Army.
However, Wang Ruyi's experience after being captured is even more legendary.
At the end of January 1935, the Red Tenth Army was heavily besieged by the Kuomintang army, and in addition to the chief of staff Su Yu who escaped with more than 800 people, Fang Zhimin, Liu Yuxi, Wang Ruyi and others were captured.
When Zhao Guantao, commander of the Kuomintang Eighth Army, heard about it, he was ecstatic and held a special celebration meeting to lock up Fang Zhimin, Liu Yuxi, and Wang Ruyi. The Kuomintang knew that Wang Ruyi was seriously ill, and deliberately cut his food standards, and put more than a dozen pounds of iron shackles on him.
Wang Ru smiled foolishly at Fang Zhimin and said, "They tossed me like this, but they just wanted to wear down my fighting spirit and force me to surrender." Liu Yuxi also said next to him: "I know that your old king's neck is hard, then straighten his neck and let them cut it!" Wang Ruyi nodded and said, "The eldest husband would rather die standing than live on his knees!" ”
A few days later, the Kuomintang began to interrogate Wang Ruyi, and the judge asked, "Do you sinners in these countries know what crime you have committed?" Wang Ru stared at the judge and sneered, "You also deserve to ask me what is the crime?" Do you also have a country? What crime did I commit, you ask? Then I tell you, I have only committed one crime, that is, I did not go to the traitor with you shameless traitors! ”
The judge was "good tempered" and continued to coerce and induce him to surrender, but Wang Ruyi never let go, and finally said: "No matter how hard your knife is, it is not as hard as my neck!" You can only cut off my head, but you can never shake my faith!" ”
The judge was still not dead-hearted, and gave another example to lure Wang Ruyi, saying: "Do you know that your commander kong Hepet of the Xiang'egan Provincial Military Region, after his surrender, his salary in January is 500 yuan of oceans, can you have 5 oceans in January in the Red Army?" ”
Before the judge could finish speaking, Wang Ru looked up at the sky and laughed and said, "Don't say 500 oceans, that is, 50,000 pieces, it is of no use to me at all." Kill it! I have no wife and no children, I have no home, only a kingdom, and your money is left to those traitors! ”
The judge knew that the surrender could not be achieved, so he shot Wang Ruyi, Fang Zhimin, Liu Yuxi, and others.
However, as martyrs, why are Fang Zhimin and Liu Yuxi so famous, but Wang Ruyi is little known? Mainly because Wang Ruyi is not his real name.
Wang Ruyi's original name was Wang Jun'ou, and he was changed to Wang Jun'ou after participating in the revolution, so after his sacrifice, his family did not know that this senior Red Army general Wang Ruyi was Wang Jun'ou, and the organization did not know much about his family situation and did not know his true identity.
In fact, the Wang family has been painstakingly looking for their relative Wang Jun'ou, but no one has associated Wang Ruyi with Wang Jun'ou, until 27 years later, in 1962, Wang Ruyi's brother Wang Yuanrun passed through Nanchang and went to the Nanchang Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall to commemorate the martyrs. ”
When Shao Shiping, the governor of Jiangxi Province, heard about this, he said excitedly: "Wang Ruyi and I are comrades-in-arms, but I only know that he is from Hunan and do not know his real name." ”
Shao Shiping sent someone to take Wang Yuanrun to the guest house, asked him in detail about the situation, and then asked the Hunan side to investigate, and finally determined that Wang Junou was Wang Ruyi, a senior general of the Red Army.
On December 30 of that year, Wang Ruyi was posthumously recognized as a revolutionary martyr.
