Standing on the bow of the Nanchang warship, the chinese and Russian warships participating in the exercise were unfolded in equal intervals in turn, moving forward side by side like close comrades-in-arms and facing the wind and waves.
It was a reunion of old friends. Among the ships participating in the exercise, the Chinese Navy's Liuzhou ship, the Dongping Lake ship and a large anti-submarine ship of the Russian Navy have participated in the Sino-Russian "maritime joint" series of exercises. Years of exchanges and cooperation have enabled Chinese and Russian officers and soldiers to forge a deep friendship with each other.

After several years of hand-in-hand relay, the degree of coordination between the joint naval exercises between China and Russia has become more and more tacit, and communication and exchanges have become smoother and smoother. The "joint maritime" series of exercises has become a normalized form of cooperation between the Navies of China and Russia, fully demonstrating the comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination between China and Russia in the new era, and promoting mutual trust and friendly relations between the two militaries to a new level.
It was a brand new expedition. The Chinese formation commanding the Nanchang is a new face in the "joint maritime" series of exercises. The ship is the first ship of the Type 055 10,000-ton destroyer independently developed by China, and has successively broken through a series of key technologies such as the overall design, information integration, and assembly construction of large ships, and is equipped with new air defense, anti-missile, anti-ship, and anti-submarine weapons, and has strong information perception, air defense, anti-missile, and sea-based strike capabilities. The new type of warship sailed out of the country, fully demonstrating the openness and self-confidence of the Chinese Navy.

In the past few days, Sun Xiangjie, an air sonar division of a certain helicopter regiment that accompanied the Nanchang warship on a mission, has been stepping up time to test equipment and making various preparations for participating in the exercise. In the next few days, Sun Xiangjie's crew will pilot an anti-submarine helicopter to conduct a day-and-night joint anti-submarine exercise with the Russian military. Sun Xiangjie said: "I cherish this opportunity to share the experience of military training and jointly improve my skills, and I will definitely make every effort to prepare for training, play at a high level, and constantly strengthen my actual combat skills." ”
The formation of surface ships participating in the Chinese exercise left the port one after another from early October and arrived at Peter the Great Bay in Russia on October 13. All the way to the waves, all the way to the quenching training. In the course of the voyage, officers and men have always focused on the requirements of actual combat, maintained a state of combat readiness, and fully tested their ability to operate in the open seas.
"Spot low-altitude fast targets!" On the evening of the 10th, it rained in a military port at night. Soon after the Nanchang ship was untied, a combat alert was issued, and the main artillery system, air defense system, missile system, and other combat units were on standby at full time, and the officers and men of the whole ship adhered to the battle position throughout the whole process.

Late at night on the 11th, the tide in the sea area of a certain meeting point surged forward, and the participating ships from different directions of the navy in the eastern, southern, and northern theaters relied on the modular platform to share the situation, and the random formation entered a state of coordinated operation, and the joint training capability was fully tested.
On the 13th, during the process of organizing rapid replenishment at sea, the Kunming and Liuzhou ships quickly maneuvered to the left and right side of the supply formation and formed a three-dimensional tactical defense formation. "Combat-style" supplies make maritime logistics more secure and efficient.
"Many of the results of the transformation of actual combat and the training of innovative tactics will be fully tested in this joint exercise." Li Lie, commander of the Chinese formation, said that the "joint maritime" series of exercises has become a classroom for the Navies of China and Russia to learn from each other and train their troops in actual combat, and has also greatly promoted the continuous improvement of the capabilities of China and Russia in responding to maritime threats.
