At the beginning of the premiere ceremony on the same day, Yang Jianwen, a second-level inspector of the Supreme People's Court and a deputy county magistrate of the People's Government of the Standing Committee of the Ningling County CPC Committee, said that Ningling County, where the film was filmed, has been one of the two poverty-stricken counties designated by the Supreme People's Court since 1995, and after 25 years of efforts by leaders at all levels and relevant departments, major breakthroughs have been made in poverty alleviation work.
He also revealed that at the same time as the premiere of "The First Secretary in the Village", another poverty alleviation film "Press the Gourd up the Pear", which was filmed in Ningling County by the Supreme People's Court, was in intensive post-production, and it will also meet with the audience at the beginning of next month.
