Infighting in the "Uyghur court" with uneven sharing of the spoils? Suspected overseas "East Turkistan" elements tweeted the "witness" appearance fee bill

Around the 20th anniversary of the "9/11" terrorist attacks, the so-called "Uyghur Special Court" plotted by overseas "East Turkistan" separatists and Western anti-China forces held a second "hearing," during which a group of so-called "witnesses" continued to stage the drama of "persecution." The Global Times reporter found on the 10th that around the appearance fee of the "witness", overseas "East Turkistan" elements are suspected of breaking out of infighting due to uneven distribution of stolen goods.

"Why is 'Wang LeiZhan' so high? The court should give an explanation. "Are Uyghur factual witnesses inferior to a 'Wang Leizhan'?" Wang Leizhan's labor (service) fee is so outrageous! On Twitter, the account of a suspected overseas "East Turkistan" element named "NacarHoshur" (@Nacarhoshur) posted several posts on September 3, questioning that a "witness" named "Wang Leizhan" got a far higher appearance fee than others, and the account also posted two pictures to disclose the proportion of the alleged "hearing" and "witness" appearance fees, of which a total of 100,700 pounds, "expert witnesses" got 40,000 pounds, accounting for about 40%, "fact witnesses." He received £17,700, or about 17 percent, and the largest was an anonymous witness named "Wang Leizhan", who made a profit of £43,000, or about 43 percent. However, the account did not say which "hearing" the money was the appearance fee for which "hearing".

Another Twitter account called "Finley_Uyghur" posted information about several "witnesses" on September 10, one of whom was labeled "Wang Leizhan" wearing sunglasses and a mask and did not dare to show his true face. The Uyghur Human Rights Project, an overseas "East Turkistan" organization, has said that "Wang Leizhan" is a "former policeman sent to Xinjiang in 2018 to investigate separatist activities," and that he testified at the first "hearing" planned by the "Uyghur court" in June.

Interestingly, the Global Times reporter found that the self-proclaimed "former policeman" "Wang Leizhan" turned into "Jiang" in a CNN report on October 5, CNN said, "Jiang" showed his "police uniform", "official documents", "photos", "videos" and "identity certificates" during his time in China, and these items "mostly cannot be made public to protect his identity". So much so that CNN also admitted that it "could not confirm its claims."

Understanding the nature of the so-called "Uyghur courts" shows that it is not surprising that the uneven sharing of the spoils occurs. At the 37th press conference on Xinjiang-related issues held in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on May 25, Xu Guixiang, spokesman for the autonomous regional people's government, satirized these so-called "witnesses" and "turned over and over again are nothing more than just a few 'actors'." ”

According to a previous investigation by a Global Times reporter, the direct financial backer behind this pseudo-court is the "Xinjiang Independence" organization "World Uyghur Association". As can be seen from the pseudo-court website, in June 2020, the president of the "VLA" formally requested Jeffrey Nice to set up an independent "people's court" to investigate the so-called "continued atrocities and possible genocide against the Uighur, Kazakh and other populations." The World Vickers Commission will provide about £100,000 in funding, and the remaining £185,000 will be raised through "crowdfunding". But in fact, the "World Victoria Club" is basically its "exclusive" source of funding. The so-called "crowdfunding" is nothing more than a cover-up and bluff. According to the "Gray Area" of the US investigative reporting website, the funder behind the "World UYGUR" is the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). NED has provided millions of dollars in funding to the World UVIE, including $1.284 million directly since 2016 and millions of dollars in additional funding for its affiliates.

On September 14, the Chinese Embassy in the UK said in response to a question about the second "hearing" of the "Uyghur Special Court" that, as China has pointed out many times, the so-called "Uyghur Special Court" is a "pseudo-court" and has absolutely no basis or effect under international law. The so-called "hearing" is entirely an anti-China farce based on lies and false information, and is essentially a political manipulation by a handful of anti-China forces in a vain attempt to smear China's image, mislead the British people, and interfere with the development of Sino-British relations. Once again, we strongly condemn it.
