The 2019 Asia-Pacific Youth Leadership and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum will be held in Guangzhou from November 3 to 7, which is a major international event of the year in Guangzhou.
In order to allow local youth in Guangzhou to have face-to-face exchange opportunities with young leaders in the Asia-Pacific region and broaden their international horizons, the Youth League Municipal Committee, the Municipal Youth Federation, the Municipal Federation of Students and the Municipal Committee of Young Workers officially launched the 2019 "Asia-Pacific Forum" Youth Representative Selection Activity on October 9.
The selection activity was carried out for all young people in Guangzhou, and 10 youth representatives, 20 juvenile observers, and 30 young journalists with red scarves were openly selected to participate in the 2019 "Asia-Pacific Forum". In just 4 days of registration time, the "Asia-Pacific Forum" youth representative selection activity attracted hundreds of outstanding young entrepreneurs, college students, middle school students and primary school students to sign up, setting off a wave of participation in the "Asia-Pacific Forum" among the vast number of young people.
It is understood that according to the principle of selecting the best among the best, the organizer has set up preliminary selection, re-selection, interview, assessment, training and other links, and conducted open selection through online voting and scoring by expert judges. After strict data review and screening, 120 youth representatives were finally screened out from hundreds of applicants in a 1:2 ratio.
From October 16 to 19, the 2019 "Asia-Pacific Forum" youth observers and red scarf small reporter representatives online voting activity was officially held, in 4 days, a total of 27,000 people attracted to the youth representatives to vote online, forming a good public opinion effect on online social media. On October 27, a jury composed of senior media reporters and activity experts interviewed and selected the representatives of juvenile observers and red scarf reporters who entered the re-election, and finally selected 20 juvenile observers, 30 red scarf reporters and 10 red scarf reporters.
On the afternoon of October 27, Jin Guangfeng, editor-in-chief of Guangzhou Young Pioneers Magazine "Urban People • Growth" magazine, conducted professional training for all the juvenile observers and red scarf reporters who participated in the interview. Starting from November 3, the selected youth representatives will participate in the opening and closing ceremonies, roundtable forums, parallel forums and other important links of the 2019 "Asia-Pacific Forum", and share and disseminate the highlights of the conference as "Guangzhou Little Master" to show the spiritual outlook of young people in the Greater Bay Area.
Sun Shengyuan, a first-year junior from Guangzhou Zhixin Middle School, said he is looking forward to the opportunity to participate in the "Asia-Pacific Forum" as a juvenile observer and communicate face-to-face with industry leaders, which is a cool and exciting challenge. "I was impressed by the selection and training of young observers and young journalists, the enthusiasm and versatility of the students, and the tutors also taught us a different lesson. For me, it was a great opportunity to learn and grow: to broaden my horizons while improving my communication, writing, and skills. I hope to meet and interview more outstanding young people in the Asia-Pacific region, ask them about the 'true scriptures' of innovation and entrepreneurship and team operation, and pass it on to more peers like me who have entrepreneurial dreams in the future." ”
