Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjar admitted there are still some issues to deal with before Liverpool visit on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford and Fred withdrew from the game in the second half of the Champions League 3-2 win over Atalanta due to problems and the manager later revealed that Rashford, who scored the first goal, suffered a leg injury.
There were also reports that Bruno Fernandez was faltering after a draw after two assists.
Anthony Matthiard is still recovering after returning from the French national team, but the striker has been training and he has the potential to score in the recent match against Liverpool's Merseyside rival Everton.
Centre-back Rafael Varane was also sidelined with a groin injury for helping Les Bryce win the UEFA league.
Soskjaer told Manchester United TV's Stuart Gardner: "We have some injured players who will come back, which is good but we need to assess their physical condition. Every player had a chance to play in Sunday's game, but I'm not sure if all the players are in good shape. Anthony is still trying to recover and hopefully he can survive today and see how he performs tomorrow."
The manager further clarified the situation in response to reporters' questions at the press conference.
"A game like Wednesday always brings some injuries," Soskaya added. "We have two or three injuries, but I hope I can pick from the right squad. B Fee may be a question, but he is doing everything he can to stay healthy.
"I can't say if Fred will be healthy. We may fit the whole team, but we may miss two or three. We'll see.
Liverpool
The away midfielder will not have Thiago Alcantara as he has already appeared on the sidelines with Javi Elliott.
Curtis · Jones has trained and should play at Old Trafford.
"The team is good," Klopp said at a news conference. "We have to see that's it. We are only two days away from the (Atletico Madrid) race and we have to make sure we are all back to health. I can't tell you right now who's 100 percent available and who doesn't.
"It's clear that Jones is going to train the whole training session with us today, and that's the plan. Thiago is not so, these are two things I know at the moment.
