Lin Ying's lifelong love story (Part 2)

Marxism-Leninism and Lin Ying – revolutionary companions in free love

Just listening to the name of Marxism-Leninism, there is a "red" breath. Marxism-Leninism was once the foreign affairs secretary of Premier Zhou Enlai's office, born in a large revolutionary family with profound cultural heritage, his grandfather and grandmother were all underground members of the CCP, and his father sacrificed his precious life for the revolutionary cause.

Lin Ying, the old partner of Marxism-Leninism, has a more legendary life, once miss Qianjin of a wealthy family in Xiangfan City, Hubei Province, and after participating in the revolution, she married Peng Xuefeng, a legendary general of the New Fourth Army. She has a strong sense of enterprise, a cheerful personality, a beautiful appearance, and a plump physique, and everyone calls her "Black Peony".

It has been rumored that after Peng Xuefeng's sacrifice for many years, it was Deng Yingchao who acted as a matchmaker to make Ma Lie and Lin Ying married. Marxism-Leninism clarified: "We are completely free love!" ”

Born in good character and good Russian, he was asked by the Prime Minister to be a secretary

When asked why he was called Ma Lie, he explained with a smile: "It turns out that my father gave me the name of Ma Yi (ying), and there are too many strokes. In 1940, I went from Peiping to the Liberated Areas, and no one knew my name. At that time, there were big pictures of Marx and Lenin hanging in our club, so I changed my name to Marxism-Leninism, and then I called it open. ”

In 1923, Ma Lie was born in Shenyang. His grandfather was a high-ranking tailor who made official clothes in the late Qing Dynasty, and his grandmother came from a Manchu family, and they married in the chaotic world. His eldest son, Ma Zhitu, participated in the anti-Japanese rescue activities after the "918 Incident" in 1931, joined the Communist Party in 1936, under his influence, his parents, wife, and children all participated in the revolution, and his home in Beiping was the site of the underground Communist Party. After the surrender of Japan in 1945, Ma Zhitu was sent to the northeast by the party to carry out party building and revolutionary arming work under the leadership of Yu Yifu, chairman of the Nenjiang Provincial Government, and was then the secretary general of the provincial government, and at the end of 1945, in order to cover the transfer of Yu Yifu and other comrades, he was killed by Kuomintang agents and died honorably.

In 1933, at the age of 10, Ma-Lenin came to Beiping from Shenyang. In 1936, at the age of 13, he joined the Chinese National Liberation Vanguard led by the Communist Party of China to pass on intelligence to the underground party. In 1940, he followed his father to the Taihang Liberated Area to participate in the propaganda work of the Youth Anti-Japanese Salvation Congress, and in May of the following year, he went to Yan'an, the holy land of revolution, to enter the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, and then studied Russian at the Yan'an Foreign Chinese School. Because I have learned English in Beiping Primary and Secondary School, I have a good foundation in foreign languages, and I do not feel difficult to master Russian.

After Japan's surrender in 1945, Marxism-Leninism traveled from Yan'an to Shenyang with the troops and became a staff officer in the staff office of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Democratic Coalition Army Headquarters next to Lin Biao. In December of the same year, he went to Dalian on a business trip, because the Soviet Union was stationed in Dalian at that time, and there were more activities with our side, and he was left by Comrade Han Guang, secretary of the Dalian Municipal Party Committee, who took off his military uniform and engaged in foreign affairs. After 5 years of dealing with the Soviet garrison, he was able to translate Russian.

In 1950, he went to Moscow to perm his hair and took a photo at a photo studio

In January 1950, negotiations on the first Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship and Alliance began, and Marxism-Leninism went to Moscow as staff. Ma Lie recalled: "After 10 days on the train, the prime minister chatted with me, asked me very detailed questions, and understood the bottom. I told him that my father was a martyr, and that our family of 10 was a member of the Communist Party and 9 Communists. After hearing this, Premier Zhou said: "You are a rare big revolutionary family. ”

After the Sino-Soviet negotiations ended, Marxism-Leninism did not immediately enter the prime minister's office after returning home. After the beginning of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea in 1950, Premier Zhou needed to deal with the Soviet government, remembered Marxism-Leninism, and immediately transferred him to work with him, after which Marxism-Leninism served as the prime minister's foreign affairs secretary, responsible for contacting the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe and other countries, until 1965, when the prime minister's office was abolished and Marxism-Leninism left the West Flower Hall.

Alternative teacher-student love, "I married my wife"

In the years when Marxism-Leninism worked in Dalian, foreign affairs work was mainly with the Soviet army. In the absence of Russian-language cadres, the Dalian Municipal Party Committee opened a Training Course in Russian in the spring of 1947.

"I teach grammar, the Soviets teach conversation. Because students are generally older, the teaching effect is not ideal. However, Heaven gave me an unexpected surprise and gained the lover of my life- Lin Ying. Marxism-Leninism said humorously.

Marxism-Leninism-Lin Ying met in October 1946, when the People's Liberation Army was fighting the Kuomintang, and the leaders of the front troops arranged for Lin Ying to take her son Peng Xiaofeng, who was less than 2 years old, from Yantai to Dalian by boat. After more than 60 years, Marxism and Leninism still clearly remember the first time they met Lin Ying. "At that time, I was staying at the guest house of the Dalian Municipal Party Committee, and one day I met a new female comrade, with short hair and big eyes, which caught my attention.

In the spring of 1947, Marxism-Leninism was in charge of a Russian language training course, and Lin Ying also came to participate in the study. In the contact of the training class, the two sparked a spark of love. Lin Ying, who was 27 years old at the time, was outstanding in appearance and had extraordinary qualifications. The intelligent and capable Marxist-Leninist took the initiative and boldly pursued. At that time, he was very fashionable, learning to play the violin, without a teacher; learning to drive in the morning, going on the road in the afternoon; he was already the backbone of the business at a young age, and Lin Ying naturally could not stop the attraction of Marxism-Leninism's youth and vitality.

"After we had a good feeling for each other, Lin Ying showed me 92 letters that Peng Xuefeng wrote to her before her sacrifice, and after reading the letters, the admiration in my heart became stronger and stronger." Marxism-Leninism recalled.

Because Lin Ying is nearly 3 years older than Ma-Lenin, she hesitated about the pursuit of Ma-Lenin, but was soon touched by Ma-Lenin's enthusiasm and carefulness, and the two formally established a romantic relationship.

"By September 1948, we had sent a report to the Organization Department saying that we were in love and wanted to form a family, and the Head of Organization approved the 'yes'. At that time, male comrades had to reach '28, 5, and regiment' when they got married, that is, 28 years old, 5 years of party age, and above the regimental level, I did not meet a single condition, Lin Ying, she was qualified. She was born in 1920, joined the party in 1938, and became a member of the county party committee in 1940. So it's not that I'm married, it's that I'm married to my wife." Marxism-Leninism said sarcastically.

"Marriage is very simple, there is no wedding, on a Saturday, a few friends sat together and talked for a while, drinking tea, eating some candy, even if the marriage was done, and even did not give us a dormitory. That was the condition, but we were happy. Marxist-Leninist recalled.

Since then, 4-year-old Xiaofeng has had a complete home.

After marriage, Ma Lie regarded Xiao Feng as his own, not only did not mind Xiao Feng calling him "uncle", nor did he shy away from mentioning Peng Xuefeng's name at home, but also often used Peng Xuefeng's deeds to educate and encourage Xiao Feng, hoping that he could become a person like his father.

When they were young, they were busy with their work, and when they were old, they depended on each other for their lives

In December 1949, their first son, Ma Jia, was born in Dalian. In October 1950, Marxism and Leninism came to Beijing and entered the State Council to serve as foreign affairs secretary at the premier's side, and Lin Ying was also transferred to the Ministry of Textile Industry, where they made their home in the Zhongnanhai Swimming Pool Courtyard.

"Zhongnanhai was originally a park with a swimming pool inside and open to the public. Since it became the seat of the central authorities, it has not been opened to the public. We had three small rooms where the pool sold tickets. A family of four and a nanny were inside. Later, he moved to the West Flower Hall, and in August 1952, he added a daughter," Recalls Ma-Lenin.

In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Pepsi was waiting to be revived, and as the secretary of the founding prime minister, Marxism-Leninism had very little time for himself. At that time, China's textile industry had just started, and factories had to be built in many places, and Lin Ying, as the backbone of the unit, often traveled on business. Marxist-Leninist said: "Because the prime minister is used to dealing with office documents at night, our secretaries should also synchronize, and there will be a night meal in the evening, and I never eat breakfast." My lover came back from work in the afternoon, I was still at work, and when I left work in the middle of the night, she was still sleeping, I fell asleep on my head, and she left for work. We rarely have time to enjoy our spare time, or even to talk to each other. But we're both people who make our work careers and don't think there's anything wrong with that. ”

In a political campaign, Lin Ying suffered from some more direct suggestions about the party's erroneous policies. Marxism-Leninism has never doubted Lin Ying's loyalty to the party, and has never abandoned it to overcome difficulties together. It's just a pity that because I am too busy at work, I can't accompany my wife when she is most difficult.

After the abolition of the Prime Minister's Office in 1965, Marxism-Leninism was transferred to the Foreign Affairs Office of the State Council as deputy secretary-general, in the autumn of 1969 to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in 1971 as the political counselor of the Chinese Embassy in the Soviet Union, in 1983 as China's ambassador to Hungary, and in 1986 he left.

Lin Ying's lifelong love story (Part 2) Marxism-Leninism and Lin Ying - the revolutionary partner of free love

The old couple had endless words

Ma Dani, the daughter of Ma Lie and Lin Ying, recalled the two old people: "My mother is a particularly independent professional woman, and my father does not have to let women surround his men. For decades they gathered less and left more, and in their later years they doubled down on the time they cherished together. After leaving, the old couple often watched exhibitions and went to the park together, and they had to go out for sightseeing every year. My mother is in her 80s, and they also travel together to Kashgar, Xinjiang. Where to go is decided by my mother, and my father is responsible for preparing the luggage. Others often joke with my mother: Old Lin, you have found a good husband, the prime minister's secretary is your secretary, see how blessed you are. My father relied on my mother almost everywhere, and in my father's heart, the affairs of husband and wife were small things, as long as they were happy. For a few years, my mother had kidney disease, especially frequent urination at night, and my father did not know how many times he got up at night to help her conveniently. When I was in the hospital, I had to visit four or five times a week, especially in my later years, and my mom was very dependent on my dad mentally, emotionally, and in life. ”

Lin Ying was hospitalized for three years, and Ma Lenin visited five times a week

This is the love story of a revolutionary old couple, passionate when pursued, understanding when getting along, companionship in old age, common revolutionary aspirations, common interest in life, and closely linked them. Whenever they think of their original free love, convinced of their correct choice, everything in the future is so simple, tolerant and peaceful.

Under the nurturing of the Marxist-Leninist couple and the care of many colleagues and comrades-in-arms of Peng Xuefeng, Peng Xiaofeng grew up healthy and strong. At the age of 19, he was admitted to the missile major of the Harbin Military Engineering College with excellent results, and gradually grew into a senior general of the people's army after training as a platoon leader, a regimental training staff officer, and a political commissar of the army division. In July 2006, while serving as political commissar of the Rocket Force, Peng Xiaofeng was awarded the rank of general. On July 1, 2021, our party did not forget the contributions made by Peng Xuefeng and Peng Xiaofeng to the motherland, and invited Peng Xiaofeng to attend the celebration of the centenary of the birth of the Communist Party of China on the upper floor of Tiananmen Square.

On August 5, 2015, Lin Ying, 95, passed away peacefully in the company of her family; three years later, her husband, Ma Lie, who accompanied her for 67 years, also died at the age of 95. Before the farewell ceremony of the old man of Marxism and Leninism began, someone asked General Peng Xiaofeng to express his feelings for Marxism-Leninism with one sentence, and he replied without hesitation: "The grace of nurturing will never be forgotten!" ”。

This is the love story of Ma Lie and Lin Ying, many people say that Lin Ying is very happy, she has found two good men in her life. Having said that, Like Peng Xuefeng, Marxism-Leninism has also found a like-minded life partner politically, spiritually, and ideologically.
