When everyone is looking at the house, sometimes they will see if the appearance of the house is good or not. In recent years, this european-style spire of high-rise buildings has been very popular with various builders. However, when you buy the top floor of this kind of house, you have to polish your eyes.
In this construction method as shown above, the top floor and the roof are built separately, and the sloped roof does not affect the internal layout of the top floor. In Suzhou, Mr. Zhang's family bought this kind of penthouse house below, with a sloping roof and a house on the same floor, turning the penthouse with excellent view into a strange special-shaped house.
Because of the slope of the roof, there is an embedded "pyramid" in the living room of Mr. Zhang's house. The calculated area takes up almost half of the entire living room.
And this "pyramid" is also a dark weapon that hurts people. Usually, when a family is cleaning or sitting and resting in this area, if you are not careful, you will hit the edges and corners of the pyramid, and when it is serious, you will hit your head and bleed, which is very dangerous.
However, this home does not have more than this alien wall. In the kitchen, toilet, study and other areas where people are frequently active, ten protruding triangles of large and small sizes appear.
These triangular special-shaped walls will not only compress the visual size of the entire space, but also make the whole home depressed. It will also bring inconvenience to the life of a family. Especially this sloped wall of the toilet. The area of the toilet is not large, only 5 square meters, the shower is just stuck under the wall, the height is only 1.6 meters, the whole family except Grandma, everyone will meet in the shower, very unfriendly.
In addition, because the area and height are not enough, the washing machine can not be placed in the bathroom. Mr. Zhang's family can only put the washing machine on the outside of the kitchen without water inlet and outlet. Every time you wash your clothes, you have to use manpower to pour water into a basin, and when the washing machine drains the water, you have to take a basin of water outside.
Therefore, washing clothes is also a physical work for Mr. Zhang's family, and it often requires the mobilization of the whole family. And washing a trip to the clothes floor is also wet, which is not conducive to safety and maintenance of wooden floors.
In view of the above problems, Mr. Zhang's family put forward two requirements for transformation.
01. Be able to solve the problem of special-shaped wall;
02. Transform one-bedroom into four-bedroom, so that a family of four can have land to live.
How will designers adapt to meet these two needs? Let's go with the family!
The first is the inverted triangle in the living room, where the designer wraps most of the exposed triangular walls to separate the left and right spaces. The space on the right is used as a tea room, which is arranged with a tatami mat and a table in the middle that can be raised and lowered, suitable for different use scenarios.
Mr. Zhang rarely comes home because of his busy work, so the tea room can be transformed into a temporary bedroom. After lowering the tea table in the middle, it becomes a flat area, and you can rest with blankets and quilts.
The bottom of the tatami mat can also be opened, with plenty of storage space.
The shaped space caused by the triangular wall is custom-built with a storage wall where ornaments and sundries can be placed. This design makes the triangle smaller, the alien space becomes more regular, and more importantly, people sitting inside will not have the risk of prostrating.
The west side of the living room was originally the bedroom of the grandparents, but because there was no partition, the two old people often did not rest well. So when the renovation was made, the designer spaced a new room in the living room as a room for the elderly.
The decoration of the old people's room is also simple, with white tones. Under the triangular alien wall, two log bookcases were made of space, and a bay window was made in the middle of the wall, which greatly enhanced the stability of the space.
There is also a small TV opposite the double bed. There is a small door next to the TV wall, and when it is pushed open, there is a separate storage space. This storage space is right next door to the tea room, another space made around the pyramid.
The right side of the double bed made a top-of-the-top wardrobe so that the grandparents' clothes also had a place to put them. On the far right, the designer set up a hidden door using the wardrobe door, which opened to the study. Meet Grandpa's usual hobby of writing calligraphy.
The master bedroom, where the grandson originally lived, was converted into a living room. The living room with a green background wall and a log-colored coffee table is both simple and warm.
Instead of setting up a TV or a background wall opposite the living room, a window was opened. Through the windows, one can see the adjacent tea room. This design is to increase the transparency of the room and make the small home bigger. At the same time, the two spaces can also light each other, making the space bright.
Television sets are replaced by projection, and when you want to watch TV, you put down the projection curtain and turn it into a small home cinema.
The grandson's room, on the other hand, uses the attic in the original bedroom. The designer designed a staircase leading to the second floor.
The background color of the attic is consistent with the first floor, which also continues the decoration style of the first floor. Close to the wall, a suspended bookcase was customized according to the slope to increase storage space. Below, a desk is made where grandchildren can study quietly.
The bed can actually also be opened as a locker.
The original kitchen has also been greatly changed. Before the renovation, the kitchen and dining room were separated, separated by a wall, and the space became very narrow visually.
After the renovation, the designer demolished the middle wall and transformed it into a kitchen integration, which weakened the sense of existence of the beveled wall while expanding the space.
The designer connects the operator station and the dining table by extending the operator station, making the whole design more smooth. The kitchen floor and the dining room floor also use two different tiles to make dry and wet partitions easy for the family to clean.
The problem of "head-banging" toilets before the renovation has also been solved.
The original toilet was only 5 square meters, even the washing machine could not be put in, and often hit the slope wall. The designer pushed the wall connecting the study and living room outwards, borrowed space from the outside, and expanded the area of the toilet to 9 square meters.
The shower area that had been crashing into people disappeared and was separated from wet and dry. The original beveled corner is used for the washing machine and wash stand. Showers and toilets are set up higher.
This transformation will take you to see it! It seems that the transformation of the alien strange house really tests the wisdom of the designer. The home jun felt that in the face of so many triangular slopes, the designer contributed a very good transformation plan. What do you think?
