Recently, the Ministry of Natural Resources officially announced the results of the 2019 Land resources science and technology award, and the results of the "Detailed Investigation of Shaling Super Large Gold Mine and Deep Prospecting Key Technologies of Shaling in Laizhou City, Shandong Province" submitted by the Sixth Academy of Geology and Mineral Resources won the second prize.

The project discovered and proved the deep super large gold deposit with the highest grade and economic recovery in the domestic ore section and the first super gold deposit of more than 1,000 tons in China, and submitted a new gold metal volume of 389.275 tons. A number of innovative achievements have been made in solving the problem of deep ore prospecting with a thickness of more than 1000 meters in the covering layer, and the mechanism of ore control and the seepage accounting for mineralization mode of the fracture slow tilt section of the deep gold mine proposed, the key factors and fertilization space of deep large-scale metallogenic are elucidated, and the deep gold prospecting model created with the goal of identifying the fracture slow inclination section is "high-precision geophysical exploration + three-dimensional geological modeling + deep hole drilling technology", which breaks through the key technical problems restricting deep prospecting and opens up new space for deep prospecting. The project is independently screened by the six institutes to obtain mining rights, independently invest in the completion of exploration, independent achievement target transformation and realization of benefits, providing a typical example for the independent prospecting of state-owned geological exploration units and the transformation of mineral prospecting achievements.
