Li Xiusan (1888-1936), also known as Li Yinghua, was a native of Longhua Village, Shali Township, and a Zhuang ethnic group. In 1923, he participated in the "Three Strikes in Donglan" battle led by Wei Baqun; in September 1925, he participated in the agricultural and dynamic training center opened by Wei Baqun in Donglan to learn the revolutionary principles; in 1926, he returned to Shali and organized peasant associations in Longhua, Natao, Ganmu, Nongding, and other places, and formed a peasant self-defense army to lead and protect the masses in Pingle, Baxuan, Jinya, Luolou, Shali, Longchuan, and other places to carry out activities to fight local tyrants.
In the winter of 1929, Li Xiusan was introduced by Huang Boyao and others to join the Communist Party of China in Pingle. In mid-November of the same year, Li led more than 200 peasant troops from Shali and Luolou to Lingyun County for military training and received more than 100 troops. From February 1930 to December 1932, he was the vice chairman of the Lingyun County Soviet Government and the chairman of the Shari District Soviet Government, as well as a member of the Lingyun Special Branch of the Communist Party of China.
In the spring of 1930, Li Xiusan took several people to the Baise Territory to report to Zhang Yunyi, commander of the Seventh Red Army, on the expansion of the Red Guards, and was encouraged and supported by Commander Zhang, who also gave him a horse.
In 1932, Li Xiu was appointed as the commander of the Red Guards Company for three years, and the team expanded to more than 300 people, he sold all 40 kilograms of seeds of Tian Heniu, bought 0 ammunition, worked hard and simple, and personally mended clothes for soldiers. After Wei Baqun's sacrifice, in 1935 Li Xiusan went to Wangang County (present-day Bama County) to find Huang Juping, the leader of the Revolutionary Committee in the upper reaches of the Right River, and under the leadership of the party, actively persisted in the revolutionary struggle in the Qianguibian base area.
On February 14, 1936, in order to raise funds, Li Xiusan secretly returned to Longhua's home alone, and was secretly reported to the county governor stationed in Shali, and the county militia and township police rushed to Longhua overnight to round up, and Li Xiusan was unfortunately shot and killed during the breakout, at the age of 48.
