The "Macao New Media Lecture Hall" was officially launched

Macao, 27 Mar (China News Service) -- On the afternoon of 27 March, the "Macao New Media Lecture Hall," under the guidance of the Propaganda and Culture Department of the Liaison Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Macao and jointly sponsored by the Macao Internet Culture Association and the Macao New Media Alliance, was officially launched in Macao. The first phase of the event invited Sun Guoyu, chairman of Shenzhen Mesh Media Co., Ltd., and Guo Jiafeng, founder of "YueZhi 12", to come to Australia to share and exchange.

Wan Sucheng, Minister of Publicity and Culture of the Liaison Office of the Central Committee of the Macao Central Committee, Chen Lu, Director of the Information Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, Mu Xinxin, Secretary of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Lai Chun-keung, member of the Administrative Committee of the Macao Foundation, And Luo Yilong, Vice Chairman of the All-China Youth Federation and President of the Macao Youth Federation, attended the event.

At the event site, Sun Guoyu provided practical and effective suggestions for the development of Macao's new media from the perspective of communication with the theme of "Strategic Opportunities for Macao's New Media from an International Perspective", and proposed that in terms of external communication, Macao New Media can strengthen the city's marketing function through new media and help promote the image of Macao's international tourism and leisure center; at the same time, through the Macao platform, it can disseminate Chinese voices to the international community and tell Chinese stories and Macao stories.

Guo Jiafeng focused on the theme of "gorgeous transformation from traditional media people to new media masters", shared his mental journey since he engaged in the new media industry, and introduced the successful experience of the "Yue Zhi 12" online talk show in content creation, network communication and transformation and upgrading.

The event was conducted simultaneously online and offline, with more than one million netizens watching live broadcasts and interacting enthusiastically through online platforms such as the Macao Daily APP, Tencent Video, Douyin, Weibo, Bilibili, and Facebook.

According to reports, the "Macao New Media Lecture Hall" activity will be held once a month for 10 months. It aims to cultivate Macao self-media people to use new media communication to enhance the cultural image of Macao city, strengthen Internet marketing capabilities, and help Macao youth innovate and start a business.
