Li Chiran (1914-2006), a native of Zichang County, Shaanxi Province, was a founding major general.

He joined the Communist Party of China in 1929 and was incorporated into the Red Army in 1933. Weng Xiangchu (1908-1997), a native of Shanghang County, Fujian Province, was a founding major general.

Cao Guanghua (1905-2004), a native of Shou County, Anhui Province, was a founding major general.

In 1925, he was admitted to the 4th Infantry Section of the Whampoa Military Academy and joined the Communist Party of China, and joined the Red Army in 1932. Huang Dingji (1913-1951), a native of Shanghang County, Fujian Province.

He joined the Red Army in 1929 and joined the Communist Party of China in 1933. Successively served as the squad leader and platoon leader of the 36th Division of the 12th Red Army in western Fujian, the 1st cadet of the Ruijin Red Army School, the company commander of the International Division of the Young Communist Party of the Red Army, the battalion commander of the 3rd Regiment of the 1st Division of the Red 1st Army, the cadet of the University of the Red Army in Northern Shaanxi, the deputy regimental commander of the 7th Regiment of the 3rd Column of the Shanxi Youth Anti-Enemy Death Squad (regimental commander Yu Lunsheng, political commissar Gao Zhiguo), the deputy regimental commander of the 7th Regiment of the 3rd Military Sub-district of the Taihang Military Region (regimental commander Yin Lihai, political commissar Gao Zhiguo), the commander of the 9th regiment (political commissar Gu Jingsheng, Hao Peimiao), the brigade commander of the 23rd Brigade of the Taiyue Military Region (political commissar Che Minyao), Brigade Commander of the 23rd Brigade of the 8th Column of the North China Military Region (Political Commissar Xiao Xinchun, who was awarded the title of "Glorious Linfen Brigade" by the Central Military Commission) and the first division commander of the 179th Division of the 60th Army of the People's Liberation Army (Political Commissar Xiao Xinchun).

He died in Chongqing on September 21, 1951.
