In order to further standardize the production and operation behavior of small food workshops, strengthen the main responsibility of small workshop operators, and ensure the health of the people. Recently, the Jianning Market Supervision and Administration Institute carried out special food safety inspections on small workshops in the jurisdiction.
This special inspection focused on checking whether the small workshops were producing with certificates and whether the sanitary environment met the requirements for production and processing, and checked whether the qualifications of the grain business operators were legal and valid; whether they clearly marked prices according to law, whether there was price fraud, price gouging, or price manipulation; whether the measuring instruments used were verified; whether they established purchase and sale ledgers; and whether grain storage met the requirements.
Up to now, 24 law enforcement personnel have been dispatched, inspecting 4 small food processing workshops, 1 rice noodle production enterprise, 5 grain sales operators, and 9 measuring instruments. The next step will be to continue to increase supervision and inspection of small workshops and grain markets to prevent illegal acts in the grain market.
