Du Mu's masterpiece, the words are shallow and deep, compared to "Passing Huaqing Palace", it is not inferior

In "Wenxin Carved Dragon", it was said that love is hidden outside the words, and the grandeur overflows the current show. Due to the complexity of social life and writers' thoughts, authors can also deal with similar subjects in the exact opposite way. Objective things have many aspects that make people feel differently, and the thoughts and feelings presented in the work will inevitably become complex.

For example, in the same description of the bright moon, Li Bai looks up at the bright moon and looks down at his hometown; while Su Shi misses his brother Su Rui and deeply hopes that people will be long-lasting and cherish Juan for thousands of miles. Although the two great literary heroes are both looking forward to the moon and cherishing the distance, they have different connotations.

Another example is the story of Xiang Yu, Wang Anshi in "Wujiang Pavilion" to tell the cruelty of history, the unpredictable changes with people's hearts, while Li Qingzhao borrowed the ancient irony in "Summer Sentences", and his righteousness was awe-inspiring. The following introduces Du Mu's masterpiece, the words are shallow and deep, compared to "Passing huaqing palace", it is not inferior.

Over the Diligent Administration Building

Tang Dynasty: Du Mu

The name of the Thousand Autumn Festival is empty, and there is no longer a promise of Ruth.

Only purple moss is favored, and every year it is rainy on the gold shop.

Du Mu is a famous poet of the late Tang Dynasty, he is on a par with Li Shangyin, but has his own creative style, and his poetry is diverse, delicate in description, and more beautiful in conception. The poet was young and diligent, middle-aged and troubled, and in his later years he was idyllic and open-minded, and although he experienced ups and downs in his life, he left countless fine poems for future generations, and was also deeply loved and admired by readers.

Du Mu has written many poems based on the present and the ancient, such as his "Red Cliff", which was created by the success or failure of the hero Hao Jie during the Three Kingdoms period. Another example is "Passing the Huaqing Palace Absolute Sentence", which is also written with the feeling of Yang Guifei's story. This poem is also ironic, expressing the feeling that the vicissitudes of the world and the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty are no longer there.

After Emperor Xuanzong of Tang ascended the throne, he built a high-rise building in the southwest of the Xingqing Palace, and inscribed it "The Building of The Calyx Xianghui" on the west side and "The Building of the Diligent Administration Book" on the south side. The emperor also often feasted with his brothers at the head of the building. It can be seen that the Qinzheng Building is the Calyx Building, although there are two names, the building is really one.

The first half of the poem is from the present to the past, "The name of the Thousand Autumn Festivals is empty, and there is no longer a promise of Ruth." "August 5 is the birthday of Tang Xuanzong, the 17th year of the new century, invited by the prime minister, this day was set as the Thousand Autumn Festival, and announced to the world. At that time, the courtiers drank longevity wine, the princes and ministers entered the golden mirror ribbon, and the scholars and the people also revealed their sacs with knots, which could be described as the joy of the upper and lower levels.

However, due to the fact that Tang Xuanzong was very dimwitted in his later years, verbally saying that he should be diligent in his administration, in fact, he did the opposite, and An Lushan was the opposite, and even the emperor could not be. Since then, the Tang Empire has been on a downward spiral, the situation has become more and more unfortunate, and even social customs have undergone many changes.

Although the Thousand Autumn Festival still has an empty name, people have long stopped giving each other away with the dew sac on this day, and even the thing as a dew sac is gone. In this hundred years or so, the changes are really huge!

The second half of the poem laments the past and the present, "Only the purple moss is partial, and every year because of the rain on the gold shop." "Now, many years later, the poet passes through this ancient building that still survives, recalling the time when the empire was at its peak, Xuanzong celebrated his birthday on this building, and the whole country rejoiced in front of the building, and today it is desolate, and even the gold shop on the palace gate is covered with purple berry moss. Gold shop refers to the bronze door ornament, used as a ring, on which to make an animal head or other shape.

The poet does not say that tourists are hurt by seeing the desolate and decaying former palace in the rain; but they say that only berry moss grows everywhere because of the rain, and it grows from the ground to the copper shop at the palace gate, as if it is satisfactory. At this moment, not only is the name of the festival empty, but there is no gift of silk sacs, and the palace door is deeply closed and never opened, which is extremely emotional!

Du Mu's masterpiece, the words are shallow and deep, compared to "Passing Huaqing Palace", it is not inferior

Du Mu's poem is small and big, and the words are shallow and deep. The author sees from the folk dew bag and the palace gate purple moss to see the waste, the author remembers the prosperity of the past, feels the decline of the present, the contrast between prosperity and decline is clear, the literary atmosphere is ups and downs, and it is worthy of being a masterpiece passed down from generation to generation. Although the poet does not say a single word of sorrow, the sadness expressed in the psalms has long overflowed.

As far as Du Mu's "Over the Huaqing Palace" and "Over the Diligent Government Building" are concerned, the former exposes Xuanzong's absurdity with bitter irony; the latter laments the decline of the Tang Dynasty with sentimental tones.

Compare his famous sentence "Chang'an look back at the embroidery piles, the mountain top thousands of doors open", the author in the "Chang'an look back" from the lychee to see the meaning, and this poem from the "Chenglu silk sac" pen, the mood is similar, and the mood is different, but they all appear to be endless.
