We've seen the biggest of lego's creative three-in-one new series of sets before, the 31120 medieval castle, and today we're going to review a cute little set, 31122 fish tank, containing 352 pieces of granules, priced at $329, which will be available on June 1st.
In the main mode, in addition to the fish tank, there is a group of colorful tropical fish - there is an orange clown fish, a blue Tang King fish, and a yellow high-fin thorntail fish, does this scene make you feel familiar...."Finding Nemo"?

The 31122 Fish Tank offers 3 different modes – the main building mode is the Fish Tank, plus an underwater treasure chest and an easel.
<h1>Treasure chest</h1>
Let's first look at the replacement pattern. To be honest, I love this treasure chest, and not just because of its underwater theme and fish tank.
In this mode you can build a small orange crab, a seagull, and a treasure chest with various gadgets.
The two bricked critters are nice, they make good use of spare parts, and the crab's pliers and eyes are very malleable.
The chest contains these two things: a pink goblet, and a sword that looks rather gorgeous. The sword exudes a strong air of Final Fantasy or The Legend of Zelda (feeling more inclined to the latter due to color), and there are some cool details like a jewel-encrusted hilt, a yellow-winged cross handguard, and a ruby sword holder.
It reminds me of the Golden Sword from Breath of the Wild, and it's just the right size for a standard LEGO mech to wield, which is a nice "drop" bonus.
This is how the box looks when it is opened, and the same is true when viewed from behind. The grains of seagrass and coral that grow on it give it a good underwater landscape. It's just that the color of the chest feels a little monotonous.
<h1>easel</h1>
Another alternative model is this easel with a beautiful parrot motif on it.
The colors and elements used are cleverly used to show Lego's boundless creativity. Elements of different sizes create a pleasing three-dimensional effect, which is most evident from this point of view.
The bracket itself is simple, the painting is placed directly on a black frame and doesn't have anything to fix.

The biggest highlight of this set is, of course, the fish tank, and when it's finished, I think it's a good display.
Creative 3-in-1 sets usually focus on vehicles, animals or buildings, but this one is a great experiment and extension of the theme.
LEGO chose an aquarium with brightly coloured tropical fish and combined it with the organic life in it to create an amazing effect.
The fish tank doesn't really have glass or walls, it just leaves a frame for you to imagine, and you can see the fish directly inside.
Tropical fish, corals and ornaments fill the aquarium and create a fun sense of interaction between each element.
Of the inhabitants of these fish tanks, the most striking is the clownfish, which can also be called Nemo. However, the studs exposed on it are a bit obtrusive, and I prefer the streamlined SNOT appearance of other fish.
A yellow high-finned spiny tailfish (the nagging bubble in Finding Nemo) injects a bright yellow color into the aquarium.
There is also a noble Blue Tang King Fish (called Dolly in Finding Nemo).
Under Dolly's is a pink and yellow fish called Anthias. Behind it, you can also see a beautiful coral structure with multiple layers.
The last fish is a black and white snapper that wanders at the bottom of the tank.
My favorite part of the fish tank is the small submarine ornament, which in my opinion is a tribute to the 6175 crystal detector submarine in the legendary series Aquazone – its shape and the ruby clutched by the manipulator can be said to be a realistic imitation.
Of course, like all real fish tanks, a big part of your fun is decorating it and placing your own bricks on top of it.
There are no figurines in this model, but if you add some underwater world-themed figures such as LEGO City divers, Aquazone divers, and even Atlantis squid warriors, the display will be greatly enhanced.

This LEGO fish tank doesn't rely on any marketing or IP (other than possible borrowings from Finding Nemo) to market itself, but relies on good traditional LEGO building methods to make a model that can be both interactive and displayed.
There's plenty of space in the tank, as if to encourage you to enrich it —whether by adding underwater dwellers, such as brick-and-piece sea urchins, or starfish, or you can follow my route and add decorative figures.
In terms of drawbacks, the main problem is that the fish don't fit well on the tank, just rely on a few transparent rods, so it's easy to get knocked off, especially when you reposition them, but in most cases it's a stable model. In addition, the black treasure chest is slightly single, but this also leaves you with room for creation.
The fun, vivid colors perfectly recreate the tropical fish tank, and for Disney fans who are eager for LEGO to create a Finding Nemo scene, this may be the closest set you can come to.
Overall, the 31122 fish tank is recommended, and when it is released in June, it will be one of many new sets worth getting started, although you can also wait patiently for a suitable discount price.
