In the photo album left by the Japanese Kwantung Army, there are many photos of the remnants of the anti-Coalition soldiers who surrendered, some of them have a dignified look, some of their eyes are full of sadness and unwillingness, and some of them do not dare to face the camera at all...
In a group photo of the Japanese and the Kwantung Army "celebrating their merits", a former officer of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army laughed very heartily, he was the first traitor Cheng Bin who betrayed Yang Jingyu.
Before the liberation, Cheng Bin had long since lost the pride of the past, and he found Bai Wanren, who had rebelled with him, and said, "Let's, in the future, we will be mixed up, and where we die, we will bury it." In the future, less contact, less talking, less appearance, clipping the tail and squinting quietly. No one should come to me, and I will not recognize anyone. ”

At this time, Cheng Bin not only hid his criminal identity tightly, but also mixed from the Kuomintang army to the North China Military Region of the People's Liberation Army and became a People's Liberation Army.
In his life, he tended to benefit and avoid harm, feared death and happy life, and luckily escaped several dead ends. But every day remaining, he lived in fear, and in the middle of the night, he could still see the noble head that had once made him identify...
Cheng Bin, a native of Yitong County, Jilin Province, was born in 1911.
In 1929, after graduating from Changchun Ziqiang Middle School, Cheng Bin worked as an apprentice in a watch shop. After the "9.18" incident, Cheng Bin joined the Panshi County Anti-Japanese Salvation Association under the introduction of the CPC members and joined the Anti-Japanese Volunteer Army.
In 1932, Cheng Bin officially joined the Communist Party.
Under the direct cultivation of Yang Jingyu, Cheng Bin made rapid progress, and in 1933 he was appointed political commissar of the Political Security Company of the Independent Division of the First Army of the North China People's Revolutionary Army, and in 1934 he was appointed director of the Political Department of the First Army of the Northeast People's Revolutionary Army, and a year later he was promoted to division commander.
Yang Jingyu has always been cheng bin as his right and left arm, and is his good brother.
In 1936, the Japanese began to implement the "merger of households" in the northeast.

Under the japanese high-pressure policy, ordinary people can not walk in groups, people over the age of 12 must carry their identity certificates with them wherever they go, they are not allowed to plug in the door when sleeping, they cannot light the lamp and talk at night, and once someone violates it, the family sits in ten consecutive homes. After the establishment of these "group tribes", the connection between the Anti-Japanese Alliance and the masses was completely severed.
At the same time, the Japanese also set up a secret service organization called the "Long Island Working Class," whose task was to break the unity and will to struggle of the anti-Japanese army and people and to carry out counter-offensive activities.
The First Division lost its "supply", and Cheng Bin could only lead the First Division to move to the southeast. As a result, in the Kuandian area, there was another Japanese sweep, and the situation was even more severe.
Life is not familiar with the place, Cheng Bin had to temporarily hide here, planning to return to the old monk's hat.
Cheng Bin also had people around him who advised him to surrender, and at first, Cheng Bin's attitude was very resolute, and he even shot and killed several subordinates who were inclined to surrender.
At the same time, the "Long Island Work Class" has already set its sights on him.
In February 1938, Ahn Kwang-hoon, chief of staff of the First Anti-Japanese Coalition Army, was wounded and captured during the battle, and after being plotted by the enemy to rebel, he provided a lot of information to the Japanese to show "loyalty".
He told Rikou that if he wanted to destroy Yang Jingyu, he must first solve the problem of the First Division, and the commander of the First Division, Cheng Bin, was a great filial piety who could capture his mother and force him to "submit".
Soon, the Long Island work class followed the traitors to Cheng Bin's Yitong hometown, arrested Cheng Bin's mother Zhang Shi, and they went to Gongzhuling to take Cheng Bin's brother Cheng En away.
Rikou imprisoned Cheng Bin's family and posted and distributed his mother's photograph on leaflets to stimulate Cheng Bin and blackmail him into surrendering.
On June 27, the 1st Division was resting in a small ravine between Benxi and Fengcheng.
In the afternoon, Cheng Bin suddenly called out to Li Shisu, political commissar of the Sixth Regiment of the First Division, and Li Xiangqian, political commissar of the Security Company, to hold a meeting, saying that they were discussing military affairs, but in fact, they wanted to know the attitude of the two of them toward surrendering to the enemy.

Li Zhisu had already seen Cheng Bin's intentions to surrender to the enemy, and without saying a few words, he and Cheng Bin had a fierce argument.
Cheng Bin asked Li Zhisu, "Now that there is no supply, what do you want me to do?" ”
Li Zhisu replied: "Even if we can't eat for three days and three nights, we also want revolution, and it is shameful to surrender to the enemy!" ”
Cheng Bin saw that Li Xiangqian had no intention of surrendering to the enemy, and knew that the two would definitely oppose him, so in order to avoid being hindered when he surrendered to the enemy one day in the future, he directly took up a gun and killed Li Jingsu. Immediately, he fired another shot at Li Forward, Li had a thick notebook in his front pocket, the bullet was blocked, he quickly turned around and fled, Cheng Bin fired several more shots, injuring Li Xiangqian's neck, Li Ran forward all the way and retrieved a life.
The soldiers who were digging wild vegetables nearby heard the gunshots and quickly gathered around, but Cheng Bin said: "These two political commissars are traitors, one was killed by me, the other was injured and escaped." ”
The warriors were with Li Zhisu and Li Xiangqian every day, and they were very surprised by their "rebellion", and could only bury Li Zhisu half-believingly.
That night, someone secretly found the Long Island work class to surrender, and told Rikou that Cheng Bin now had the idea of surrendering.
On June 28, Cheng Bin found someone to deliver a letter to the Long Island work team and plotted to surrender.
On the 29th, Cheng Bin held a meeting of squad leaders and above and announced that he would lead the first division to surrender.
Pictured| japanese newspaper reports of Cheng Bin's surrender
The platoon commander of the Sixth Regiment was resolutely unwilling to surrender to the enemy, he led more than 30 fierce soldiers to leave the First Division directly with his own weapons, Cheng Bin did not stop them, and he had no reason or face to stop them.
In this way, Cheng Bin officially surrendered on the 30th, and 115 people from the First Division surrendered with him. At this time, they did not run out of food, and they handed over all the cannons, guns, grain, and medicines they had left.
Cheng Bin surrendered for a "filial piety" character, and many people said that he was a great filial piety. In fact, "filial piety" is just a high-sounding reason for him, and it is also his steps and fig leaf.
On the day after the surrender, the Japanese army could not wait to hold a "surrender" ceremony, on which Cheng Bin thanked the magnanimity of the imperial army, regretted the previous anti-Japanese resistance, and vowed to "atone for his sins".
Cheng Bin was soon incorporated into the pseudo-Tonghua Provincial Police Department and became a deputy captain of the police brigade.
Cheng Bin did not die in place of the subordinates of the First Division, nor did he just want to see his mother as he said, and he also wanted to find a good future in the Japanese puppet army. Cheng Bin knew that only by making great contributions to the "arrest of Yang Jingyu" could he truly gain the trust of the Japanese.
Cheng Bin boasted that he was most familiar with Yang Jingyu, and just by listening to the sound of gunfire, he could tell whether it was Yang Jingyu who had made it.
Indeed, he was very familiar with the activities and operational characteristics of the Anti-Japanese Coalition, so the threat and damage caused by his rebellion not only to Yang Jingyu but also to the entire Anti-Japanese Coalition forces were enormous.
He gave Two ideas to Niko.
First, he led the enemy to personally destroy more than 70 "secret camps" of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army. This was once a secret rear of the Anti-Japanese League, storing grain, cloth, firearms, medicines and other materials for survival. These supplies were buried in large pits, which were full of dead branches and hay, and if it were not for Cheng Bin taking them, the Japanese would not have been able to find these low pits.
The Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army had been fighting hard for many years, and at this moment, it had lost the most important supply lifeline, and overnight, Yang Jingyu was in a situation of running out of ammunition and food.
Second, the Church fights day and night. Before Cheng Bin surrendered, the Japanese and puppet military and police did not dare to spend the night in the mountains and forests, for fear of being attacked by the anti-Japanese wing, and they would hastily withdraw in the evening. The anti-coalition fighters had long been accustomed to marching at night, and when the next day dawned, the Japanese puppet army wanted to look for it again, and the soldiers had run away without a trace. After Cheng Bin surrendered, he cooperated with the Japanese puppet army, rested during the day, and was responsible for arresting when it was dark.
The day and night search made the anti-coalition forces tired of coping, and they could not get good repairs at all. Coupled with the fact that logistics had been completely cut off, Yang Jingyu was forced to lead his troops to evacuate Ji'an, a guerrilla base area that had been established for several years, and went north into Mengjiang, which is today's Jingyu County.
In 1938, the "Cheng Bin Police Brigade" was formally established, and Cheng Bin tried his best to be loyal to Japan and was appointed as the captain of the brigade, specifically to search for Yang Jingyu's troops.
In the winter of 1939, the snow fell exceptionally heavily, and the snow in the dense forest was three or four feet deep.
Ri Fei had been staring at Yang Jingyu, taking turns to chase, day and night, the warriors' entire legs were frozen, and their shoes were rotten. They tied the tattered shoes to their feet with ropes, and then when the soles of the shoes ran out, they tore off a bag of cotton coats.
Late at night, the temperature had dropped to minus 40 degrees Celsius, and the soldiers were frozen to death one by one. They did not dare to make a fire, they could not dig up even a grass, and they had to eat the bark.
After fighting with several crusading teams, Yang Jingyu was only left with more than 60 soldiers from the special guard platoon, the first platoon of the machine gun company, and the junior predatory team.
In February 1940, after three more battles, Yang Jingyu was left with only 16 men left.
Yang Jingyu began to have a high fever, and the guard Huang Shengfa left some dry cornmeal and gave it to Yang Jingyu to eat, and Yang Jingyu insisted that he quickly make a fire and cook a soup at dawn, and everyone drank a little.
More than a dozen people surrounded the fire, each drinking two small spoons, some comrades did not even want to drink two spoons, wanted to leave it for Yang Jingyu, but Yang Jingyu only drank two spoonfuls.
Yang Jingyu was still as calm and optimistic as before, he sat up and looked at every comrade, smiled and said: "Don't be discouraged, the enemy cannot bring us down, that is, we are a few people who die, and there are those who inherit our cause, and the revolution will always succeed." ”
Yang Jingyu's words gave everyone a lot of courage, and after dark, everyone continued to march with a drum.
At dawn the next day, everyone found that they had returned to the place where the fire was roasted yesterday, and Yang Jingyu asked Huang Shengfa to go to the forest to find some food.
Huang Shengfa met a lumberjack, who, under the harsh oppression of the Japanese army at that time, secretly gave them some food at the risk of being accused of hair, and also gave his cotton clothes to Huang Shengfa, who stuffed some money to his compatriots and hurried back.
On February 10, Yang Jingyu had only 12 comrades around him. On the 12th, only 8 people remained. On the 15th, only 6 people remained.
The map | a road map drawn by the Japanese army to pursue and suppress Yang Jingyu
In a ravine in Mengjiang County, the enemy found them, and in the fierce battle 4 fighters were wounded, and Huang Sheng was wounded in the left leg.
Yang Jingyu insisted that Huang Shengfa take the three wounded and go separately from himself, but the comrades resolutely disagreed, and Yang Jingyu asked them to go to the muddy ditch to deliver a letter to Commissar Chen and write a note to Huang Shengfa.
Huang Shengfa understood that his stay could drag everyone down, and if he sent the letter away, he could still win a life for General Yang. He and the three wounded left Yang Jingyu in tears, leaving the two pieces of dry corn grain he had picked up on the road to the last two guards, Zhu Wenfan and Nie Donghua.
On the 18th, Zhu Wenfan and Nie Donghua wanted to buy some grain for General Yang, but met Zhao Xue'an, who was resting in a charcoal kiln on the west bank of the Hailong River, and asked him to buy grain for him. Zhao Xue'an told them to rest and wait in the charcoal kiln on the front foot, and the back foot denounced them, Zhu Wenfan and Nie Donghua wanted to return to the mountain immediately after realizing that something was wrong, and found that the enemy had already encircled them, so they fled in the opposite direction, and then died heroically because they were outnumbered.
Nie Donghua was 19 years old when he died, Zhu Wenfan was 18 years old, and Yang Jingyu was left alone.
Rikou found one Yang Jingyu seal and two harmonicas from them. After the traitor Zhang Xiufeng confirmed that they were Yang Jingyu's guards, he also told Rikou That Nie Donghua's marksmanship was excellent, and he had rich combat experience, and that he must be covering Yang Jingyu if he did not run into the mountains.
On February 22, Yang Jingyu, who was hungry and intolerant, met four villagers chopping wood in the deep mountains: Zhao Tingxi, the pseudo-brand chief, and Sun Changchun, Xin Shunli, and Chi Deshun.
Yang Jingyu bought them some food and cotton shoes and promised to give them more money. Zhao Tingxi directly advised Yang Jingyu to surrender, and Yang Jingyu said: "If we surrender Chinese, we will be finished in China, and we must be worthy of our conscience." ”
Zhao Tingxi said that he was looking for food for Yang Jingyu, and on the way he met a traitor and betrayed Yang Jingyu.
When Zhao Tingxi caught up with a large number of Japanese puppets, Yang Jingyu sensed something strange and immediately ran into the mountains. The enemy had been persuading yang jingyu to surrender, and Yang Jingyu swore to die and stubbornly resisted, and when rikou saw that it was impossible to capture Yang Jingyu, he gave the order to shoot Yang Jingyu.
Yang Jingyu was martyred, and The head of the Police Department of Tonghua Province, Kishi Gulongichiro, transferred Cheng Bin from the front line to Mengjiang County, in order to let him identify Yang Jingyu's body.
The fatal bullet holes in Yang Jingyu's body were given to him by soldiers of the former First Division, who defected with Cheng Bin, namely zhang Xiruo, machine gunner, Bai Wanren, deputy shooter, and Wang Zuohua, ammunition man.
The Japanese army took a photo, and next to the body of the towering mountain were these rats, and Zhang Xiruo was next to his body.
That night, the crusade brigade drank celebratory wine in the hotel, and Zhang Xiruo showed off to the people around him: "Just when Yang Jingyu raised his leg to run, I shot a point, brushing the ground and pointing it on his chest." ”
There was an instant silence at the table.
Zhang Xiufeng, Yang Jingyu's most painful guard, recently defected to the enemy with confidential documents and even betrayed Yang Jingyu's breakthrough plan.
He still had a trace of conscience in his heart and did not participate in the final killing, and at this moment he scolded Zhang Xiruo across the table: "Bastard! Come to a sticky end! ”
Because of Zhang Xiufeng's words, the traitors present all changed their faces and could not drink a mouthful of wine.
When Cheng Bin arrived, Yang Jingyu's head had already been cut off by the traitors, and Ri Kou said that he wanted to take his head and parade the streets. They also asked reporters to take pictures of Yang Jingyu's head, printed a few sacks of leaflets, and flew into the mountains and forests.
Cheng Bin personally witnessed the dissection of Yang Jingyu in the compound by the Gumi Wing, and saw that there were only cotton wool, grass roots and bark in his stomach...
In 1932, Yang Jingyu was entrusted by the Party Central Committee to organize the Anti-Japanese Coalition Army in the northeast and fought for 8 years under the crazy suppression of the Japanese army. Less than 2 years after Cheng Bin surrendered to the enemy, he destroyed everything he had painstakingly managed.
Cheng Bin's fierceness lies in the fact that there is no room for it at all. Because he knew very well that what he was doing was the most evil thing for the country and the people, only if the Japanese conspiracy succeeded and China's history was rewritten, could he avoid the situation in which everyone shouted and fought for the rest of his life.
Nowadays, many people use "filial piety" as an excuse to wash Cheng Bin white on the pretext that the conditions are too difficult and human nature is cowardly, but in fact, it is not necessary.
At the time of Cheng Bin's surrender, it was the summer in the northeast, although the winter was cold, but it was not desolate, and the White Water Black Mountain had always been a rich land coveted by foreign countries. What's more, Cheng Bin still had cannons and bullets in his hands, and he did not go to the step of running out of ammunition.
If you say "filial piety", it is even more ridiculous.
After Cheng Bin surrendered, his grandmother fell ill due to anger and died shortly after. Before dying, he left a last word: "Do not be raised by thieves in life, and do not need to be buried by thieves when you die." Because of this sentence, Cheng Bin did not dare to go to the funeral.
If he had chosen to surrender only for the sake of survival and filial piety, Cheng Bin would not have been scolded to this point, but he did not hesitate to aim his gun at Yang Jingyu, who had cultivated him single-handedly, it would not be as simple as "helplessness" and "persecution".

On August 13, 1945, Cheng Bin heard the news of Japan's defeat and surrender from the radio, and he and other traitors killed all 80 Japanese in the headquarters of the "police brigade" and waited to see what happened.
After Japan announced its surrender, Commissar Yang of the 15th Division of the Eighth Route Army went to the garrison to discuss the surrender with Cheng Bin, and Cheng Bin actually detained Commissar Yang, who was finally sacrificed in prison.
Cheng Bin finally decided to defect to the Kuomintang only because he felt that he had accumulated deep grudges with the Eighth Route Army and the Communist Party over the years, and he took the initiative to contact the Kuomintang, create chaos in the liberation war, and maim our cadres and innocent people.
In February 1948, Cheng Bin was promoted to senior staff officer of colonel of the Kuomintang 53rd Army. At the end of the year, Shenyang was liberated, and Cheng Bin saw that the general trend had gone, and then went to Beiping with his wife and children, hiding his name. After the liberation of Peiping, he was mixed into the Ordnance Department of the Logistics Department of the North China Military Region of the People's Liberation Army.
In 1951, Cheng Bin went out and encountered heavy rain, and when he was hiding from the rain, he happened to meet the former cadres of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army who had defected.
For some reason, both went to report each other, and both were shot. Cheng Bin thus ended his life of sin.
In the archives of the Japanese army, it is recorded that when the Japanese Kou cleaned up the relics of General Yang Jingyu, it was found that in addition to the pistol and watch, there was also a harmonica.
Pictured| the relics of Yang Jingyu
Yang Jingyu's former subordinates recalled that Yang Jingyu often played harmonica to the soldiers during his rest, and would also teach the young warriors to learn harmonica, and in the most difficult period, music was their spiritual food.
Yang Jingyu's most often played is the "March of the Volunteer Army".
The traitor Zhang Xiufeng was once an orphan, and Yang Jingyu raised him single-handedly, taught him to write, learned harmonica, and gave him a harmonica.
I don't know if these traitors were touched in their hearts when they saw the harmonica next to Yang Jingyu's body; at the time of the founding of New China, when these traitors who were living hard heard the national anthem played all over the country, they dared to echo and hum a paragraph...
Why are there so many traitors around Yang Jingyu? This question has been asked so far, and the story of his sacrifice has made the listener feel desolate and helpless, and they have attributed it to the ugliness of human nature and the cowardice of the people.
At the last moment of Yang Jingyu's life, watching his once trusted comrade-in-arms raise his gun and aim at him, he may be cold, but it is absolutely impossible to be desperate.
Pictured| a group photo of some officers and men of the Teaching Brigade of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army
Although the general died, the Anti-Japanese Coalition did not disappear.
The Qi platoon leader who broke away from the first division led 30 soldiers to break through in Benxi County, and in mid-July, the Qi platoon leader and more than a dozen soldiers died heroically.
On August 8, 1945, the Soviet Union declared war on Japan. There was a thousand-man force, in coordination with the Soviet Union's attack on the Japanese army, to deliver a fatal blow from behind the enemy. They were the anti-coalition forces that were forced to go north and had no choice but to retreat to the Soviet border.
Huang Shengfa, a small guard who had once been guarding Yang Jingyu's side, took 4 wounded people around the forest for four or five days, and finally found the troops, but then got the news that Yang Jingyu had died.
Huang Shengfa did not eat or drink for a day, crying bitterly, and after more than a month, his injuries had not yet healed, so he insisted on returning to the team, bent on giving Yang Jingyu revenge.
After liberation, Huang Shengfa left the unit he had fought for many years and successively served as the leader of the Jilin City Public Security Brigade, the chief of the Public Security Administrative Section of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the deputy commander-in-chief of the Air Defense Command.
Huang Shengfa and Qi Platoon Leader carried Yang Jingyu's faith and really fought to the last moment, and it was he who left Yang Jingyu's last story to posterity.
The Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army fought for 14 years, from 30,000 people to only a few hundred people, and really fought to the end of the mountains.
Pictured| the anti-coalition fighters who greeted the victory of the War of Resistance
There are traitors here, but more of a bloody hero.
The songs that once sang in praise of them have become our national anthem, and this is the greatest and most moving memorial.
In the movie "Into Glory", Yang Jingyu said such a passage before sacrificing.
"Although I am only a horseman in China, I have seven feet of eyebrows, and my faith in resisting Japan and saving the country is as solid as a rock, and my wealth is unshakable." Today I can splash the mountains and rivers with blood, I am enough! With only four japanese islands, there is no way to destroy our Chinese power! ”
Traitors, everywhere, their presence makes us reflect deeply, and to remember and revere those "who do not want to be slaves" even more.
