As one of the important contents of the "Healthy yizhuang" plan, the project plans to allocate 90 AEDs in the district through 3 years and 3 phases.
With the increasing number of sudden deaths in recent years, people's understanding and importance of AEDs are no longer unfamiliar. AED is a portable medical device that diagnoses specific arrhythmias and is given electric shock defibrillation, and is a cardiac arrest rescue device that can be used by non-professionals, which can achieve a survival rate of 50% to 70% of cardiac arrest patients within the "golden 4 minutes" of the optimal rescue time.
In accordance with the principle of scientific allocation, the AED installation work in the Beijing Economic Development Zone this year has clarified the scope of configuration through preliminary overall planning, docking and location screening. On the same day, the reporter followed the staff into the school and government service hall in the district and saw that the two AED configuration locations were selected in areas with wide space and relatively dense flow of personnel. Among them, the entrance to the indoor gymnasium of the North Campus of the Economic Development School of the Renmin University Affiliated Middle School and the entrance to the east gate on the first floor of the government service hall are equipped with AEDs. The remaining 28 AEDs are distributed in eye-catching and easy-to-access locations such as Yiqi Service Port, Ronghua Street Office, Boxing Street Office, all primary and secondary schools and some fitness venues, elevators or stairwells.
According to reports, these AEDs are equipped with 4G network transmission, which can monitor the equipment around the clock and issue an alarm when it is used, so as to notify the staff as soon as possible to replace the electrode piece after use to ensure normal use next time. In terms of daily management and maintenance of equipment, the AED equipment suppliers and configuration units in Beijing Economic Development Zone are jointly managed to ensure that the equipment is in good use. Next, we will also improve the indication signs of each placement point, guide the configuration unit to improve the AED location information displayed in the floor guide map, and train the AED responsible personnel at each point and the training of first aid knowledge. The reporter learned that the 30 AED configuration work also kicked off the prelude to the comprehensive promotion of AED configuration in other key public places in the region. According to the "AED Allocation Plan for Key Public Places in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone", Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone plans to complete the AED configuration in three phases in public places with large population flow or dense fixed populations such as schools, business circles, industrial parks, transportation hubs, etc. through 2021 to 2023, and complete 30 configuration plans in each period, and strive to achieve AED allocation in key public places in the region by the end of 2023, reaching the configuration level of 30 units/100,000 people. By 2035, full coverage of AED configuration in all public places such as hotels, shopping malls, hotels, supermarkets, fitness venues, parks, and business centers will be achieved, and the international advanced level of 100 units/100,000 people equipped with AEDs will be achieved.
It is worth mentioning that, on this basis, the Beijing Economic Development Zone will also establish an AED cloud management platform to realize the intelligent and full-life cycle management of AED equipment, and connect it to the district-level health management platform, the city digital map and the 120 emergency network to achieve emergency linkage with relevant departments such as public security, transportation, and emergency response, provide more reasonable scheduling, transfer and handover schemes for emergency patients, and form a seamless and integrated development of social emergency and pre-hospital and hospital first aid.
