Jaylen Brown said his body felt different after recovering from COVID-19: it was like playing 3 games at a time

Jaylen Brown said in an interview that his body has not felt the same since he recovered from COVID-19.

Brown said he sometimes feels like playing 3 games at once: "That's what I think. Have I noticed that over the past few days, 4 games have been played now? My body is not recovering as it used to be, I told our team doctor. I feel great, it feels like I don't want to play one game, like playing 3 games. I used to recover a lot faster, and I was just 25 years old. ”

The Celtics announced Brown's covid-19 infection on Oct. 8 (U.S. time) and was quarantined for 10 days to catch up with the Oct. 20 game against the Knicks.

Brown scored 46 points in 46 minutes in the opener, followed by 30 points in overtime against the Hornets. But in the other two home games, Brown scored 22 points on 8-of-29 shooting.

Before the opening, Brown had said he had breathing problems and now had no problems. But the body can also feel joint pain.

Brown said: "As I continued to overcome the pain and keep playing more games, it was still unstable and I felt obvious that my body felt different. It didn't bother me, but it surprised me. I was surprised that my body didn't react like normal. I used to run around the field, but now I'm not. I'm going to find a way to get my body back to normal. Some days I feel great and it may take 2-3 days to get back to that state. ”
