Yun Shouping (1633-1690), calligrapher and painter of the early Qing Dynasty. The initial name was Ge, the character Shouping, and later the character line, changed to zhengshu, nantian, nickname Yunxi Waishi, Wujin (now Changzhou, Jiangsu) people. Poor family, born sensitive and wise, able to poetry, fine calligraphy, good at landscape, especially good at flowers and birds. Later generations referred to him, together with Wang Shimin, Wang Jian, Wang Yi, Wang Yuanqi, and Wu Li, as the "Qing Liujia", or "Four Kings Wu Yun". He was a versatile master. Its poetry is super elegant, the calligraphy is exquisite, and the brush is vivid, so it is called "three absolutes". Yun Shouping emphasized the relationship between character and painting, asking the painter to "go in and out of the wind and rain, curl up and green", and then "go to the end of the pen". He emphasized the transformation of the painter's subjective feelings on the objects of painting, and the role of the god of the painting objects. He attaches great importance to the pleasant role of landscape painting in making the admirer "not looking for mountains and walking, living in the clouds and seas", and regards gao yi of "getting rid of all vertical and horizontal habits", "unintentional for literature" and "indifferent and naïve" as the highest state of painting beauty. He believes that "Gao Yi" is of course related to "Jane": "Painting is simple and expensive, if it is still simple, it will wash away the dust, exist alone and lonely, smoke and green, and retreat." ”
