On December 6, the official website of the China Poetry Society published a notice entitled "Former Deputy Secretary-General Qi Ren Suspected of Encroaching on His Position has Been Filed", saying that the case of Qi Ren, former deputy secretary general of the Society, who was suspected of embezzlement of his position, was officially established as a criminal case by the economic crime investigation detachment of a branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.

The circular said: Qi ren encroached on the income and interests of the "Poetry Miles" activity held by the Chinese Poetry Society; fraudulently obtained various remuneration and expenses of nearly 400,000 yuan; transferred and embezzled nearly 5 million yuan of huge funds through only two accounts and other channels.

On December 8, Ma Jin, deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Poetry Society, told China News Weekly that after Qi Ren was arrested, the society would disclose more evidence. Qi Ren responded to China News Weekly that he is currently doing online evidence preservation and taking legal procedures to "let Huang Mou (Huang Nubo, the current president of the society), bear the consequences of defamation."

The deputy secretary-general before the explosion was filed

In the above-mentioned circular, the Chinese Poetry Society said that Qi Ren served as deputy secretary-general and financial director of the Chinese Poetry Society from 1994 to April 2012. For a long time, the society has received some feedback, saying that during his tenure, the Qi people set up a company to encroach on the income and interests of the "Poetry Miles" activity held by the Chinese Poetry Society.

"After I entrust a third party to review and verify the clues provided by the informant, according to the only files and financial documents of the Society, it is preliminarily proved that the Qi people obtained various remuneration and expenses of nearly 400,000 yuan during the period from 1998 to 2011, up to thirteen years; only through the two accounts of the Film and Television Poetry Professional Committee of the Chinese Poetry Society and the Academic Work Committee of the Chinese Poetry Society and other channels, they were transferred. Embezzled nearly 5 million yuan of huge funds (the above two accounts have been cancelled by the Qi people in 2010 and 2011); using private (fictitious) invoices and receipts and other means to embezzle the income of the Chinese Poetry Society; conceal the income from the 'Poetry Miles' activity and encroach on the interests of the Chinese Poetry Society..."

According to the official website of the society, the Chinese Poetry Society was declared by the China Writers Association in 1994, approved by the Central Propaganda Department, and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Ai Qing and Zang Kejia were the first presidents. The current president, Luo Ying (real name Huang Nubo), born in Lanzhou, was the first Chinese poet to complete the summit of the world's seven continents and cross the North and South Poles, and successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest three times.

According to China Writers Network, Qi Ren, born in 1965 in Rong County, Sichuan Province, graduated from the Department of Political Science and Education of Sichuan Normal University. He began publishing in 1985 and joined the Chinese Writers Association in 1998.

On the morning of December 7, Qi Ren responded by posting on his personal Weibo, "I am now all right, and this announcement is a rumor created by Huang Mou (referring to Huang Nubo) by unscrupulous means to achieve insidious purposes." ”

He also said, "Huang Mou has been dismissed from the post of secretary of the party branch of the Chinese Poetry Society, and the Chinese Writers Association has officially appointed Comrade Wang Shan as the secretary of the party branch of the Chinese Poetry Society and established a leading group for the change of term." When the China Writers Association was cleaning up and rectifying the Chinese Poetry Society, Huang Mou issued a so-called circular intended to disrupt the Rectification of the Chinese Poetry Society by the China Writers Association and to mess up the poetry circle. ”

"Damage to the reputation of the Society due to personal grievances"

Regarding the allegations in the notice of the China Poetry Association, Qi Ren told China News Weekly that at present, he is doing online evidence preservation and taking legal procedures. "No matter how much I say now, it doesn't make sense, and now it is the first priority to preserve the evidence of slander spread online, and then start legal protection."

He also said that Huang Mou, without the research consent of the party branch of the China Poetry Society and the leading group for the change of term, thought that he had an official seal in hand, and he could issue an announcement in the name of the Chinese Poetry Society to slander and slander himself as he pleased, which was a criminal act and would inevitably bear the consequences of the crime of defamation for his own personal behavior. "I regret that Huang and my personal grudge have had such a bad impact on the reputation of the Chinese Poetry Society."

Regarding whether it involves the transfer and misappropriation of funds mentioned in the circular, Qi Ren did not respond positively, and he asked rhetorically, "If I say no, do you believe it?" ”

Qi Ren believes that the reason why Huang issued the above notice may be related to the fact that he reported that he was a dishonest executor and could not serve as the president. He claimed that Huang was included in the list of judgment defaulters by the Supreme People's Court. According to relevant laws and regulations, he cannot hold the position of legal person, president and other positions of the Chinese Poetry Society.

Ma Jin, deputy secretary-general of the China Poetry Society, responded to China News Weekly that Huang Nubo's presidency was submitted to the China Writers Association for approval after the election and filed with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. "The problem of President Huang Nubo's untrustworthiness does not exist, and he has already proposed his intention not to be re-elected."

Qi Ren also said that two years ago, Huang had posted on the Internet that "Mr. Qi Ren handed over the money of the Chinese Poetry Society" to slander himself. Later, although Huang withdrew the content on the Internet, he sued Zheng mou who disseminated the content of the article with Beijing Take Culture Communication Co., Ltd. as the plaintiff, and after trial by the Chaoyang District Court of Beijing Municipality, he had ordered Zheng to apologize and compensate 50,000 yuan.

As for whether this statement of the Qi people is true, Ma Jin said, "I have never heard of it, nor do I know Zheng Mou." Ma Jin told China News Weekly that President Huang Nubo was inconvenient to be interviewed, "Now that it is the stage of public security case handling, it is not convenient for us to disclose too much information." When [QiRen] is arrested, [we] will provide the media with a large amount of detailed evidence. ”
