In the COD series of games, "Modern Warfare MW" and "Black Ops" are my two favorite branches.
Of these, Modern Warfare 2 impressed me the most. During the National Day, I revisited this classic work.
MW built a magnificently laid out virtual world route.
In this conspiracy, the villain exploded a nuclear bomb, wiping out 30,000 U.S. troops and sowing the seeds of the ensuing Russo-American war.
Following the success of the previous work, the sequel "Mw2" was released in 2009, and CCTV also reported on the event at the time of its release.
Cinematic narrative
Mw2 uses a multi-line narrative approach, shuttling between the United States, Russia, Afghanistan, Brazil and other places, and the scale of the war exceeds that of previous works.
In games, plots, mirror operations, and war descriptions tend to be cinematic, and several of these missions impressed me the most.
Second, Guan Xiaoqiang and Soap sneaked into the snow-covered Russian military base. At the beginning of this mountain pass, they smoked and rested on the edge of the cliff blown by the cold wind. Players need to control the character themselves to climb the ice wall.
After diving into the mission, they were spotted and began an exciting snowmobile connection. After passing through the woods and cliffs, they struggled to escape.
Remember, No Russian
Then there are the most famous and controversial airport checkpoints. Before the level starts, the game reminds people that its content may be uncomfortable and repeatedly confirms whether to skip it.
At the checkpoint, a group of heavily armed terrorists broke into a Russian airport to carry out inhumane massacres and frantically strafed civilians with machine guns.
Players play as undercover. In order to gain Makarov's trust, they must be involved, but here they can choose not to shoot and follow the people.
When the agents eloped with the people, Alan was killed. It turns out that Makarov already knew of Allen's undercover identity and wanted to blame the United States for the massacre and provoke the Russo-American war.
When I first played here, I looked confused and compulsive. In the end, I knew I had been betrayed by Sheffield.
Brave the Island of Death
After several levels of regular Army operations, the 141 Special Forces revived this prospect. According to clues, this time a prisoner needs to be rescued.
After solving the problem of the rig, the task force went to a prison to pay tribute to the classic 1996 film "Daredevil Island".
Breaking into the deadly island tells us that General Hammer was unhappy with the U.S. government's treatment of fallen soldiers and failed to seek reparations. He led his subordinates to capture poison gas bombs and occupy Devil's Island to confront the government.
Mw2 is full of homage to bravely enter this deadly island. Like General Hammer, Sheffield took frantic action, demanding that the fallen soldiers be treated as they should be. The difference is that Sheffield's motives are not simple, cruel and ruthless. For his personal gain, he even went so far as to provoke war to hurt his subordinates. General Hammer took hostages and missiles, but he was not willing to harm anyone's life, which was respectful.
In the game, bathroom wars directly restore the scenes in the movie. People fought hard under heavy artillery fire to save this money team.
In addition to this, the last signal bomb released at the White House also pays tribute to the scene in the movie.
The game also featured film music master Hans Zimmer. The musical style of this work is magnificent, like an epic, perfectly interpreting the brutality of war.
War: Sacrifice
Mw2 is the first in the COD series I came into contact with and gave me the deepest feelings. In the end, the protagonist's death and injury and the cruelty of the war still deeply affect the people and soldiers in the end.
The pieces in the chess pieces are the first to be rushed out and the first to be discarded. May there be no war in the world and prosperity for the motherland.
