In response to the call| There are no public toilets around the swimming pool of the Suzaku Road Sports Hospital Beilin Chengguan: Supervise and accelerate construction

On October 21, some citizens reported to the 24-hour news hotline of Huashang Daily 029-88880000 that there were often people defecating on the roadside outside the swimming pool of Xi'an Suzaku Road in Xi'an, and the smell was unpleasant every morning, and there were many tourists and operators here, affecting the image of Xi'an, whether it was possible to increase public toilets.

Subsequently, Huashang Bao sent a letter to the Beilin District Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau of Xi'an City for consultation. It was replied that in order to improve the protection of the site, improve the regional environment and promote economic development, in 2017, the Xiaoyan Pagoda Historical and Cultural Area began to carry out comprehensive transformation. The comprehensive transformation project scope of Xiaoyan Pagoda Historical and Cultural Area: from Chang'an North Road in the east, to Suzaku Avenue in the west, from North Stadium Road in the south, and to West Friendship Road in the north. Due to the comprehensive transformation of the Xiaoyan Pagoda Historical and Cultural Area, in 2019, the public toilets at the south gate of the Xiaoyan Pagoda and the public toilets in the middle of Suzaku Road, which were originally located around the Xi'an Museum, were demolished. At present, the relevant management powers have been transferred to the reconstruction department, and after the completion of the public toilet, it will be convenient for the public to go to the toilet.

If the public needs, there is an antique market public toilet about 500 meters south of the middle section of Suzaku Road, in addition, the toilets of social units such as the stadium, the first floor of the installation company building, and the north side of Suzaku Street, the National Taxation Bureau Road east to the north of the Suzaku Road, are open to the public, which can facilitate the public to go to the toilet.

In the next step, the Beilin District Urban Management Bureau will continue to conduct on-site inspections with the district street office, publicize and mobilize, promote the free opening of toilets in surrounding social units, continue to supervise the relevant reconstruction departments of The Little Wild Goose Pagoda, and accelerate the construction of public toilets as soon as possible to facilitate the toilet needs of surrounding citizens and tourists.
