As an important promoter of accurate poverty alleviation in education, how can student funding play a greater role?
To this end, through the implementation of the nutrition improvement plan for students in the rural compulsory education stage, the city has invested a total of 1.610 billion yuan to let all rural students in the compulsory education stage eat safe and delicious nutritious lunches. The city's 7 districts and counties have also set up education poverty alleviation and relief funds, which have currently rescued more than 261,600 students, realizing the goal of "exempting and assisting", effectively protecting the right of the majority of school-age children and teenagers to receive education.

In recent years, the city has innovated the implementation of the public-funded targeted training of rural teachers plan, from 2016 to 2019, a total of 920 rural teachers have been trained at public expense in Hejiang County, Xuyong County and Gulin County, and the first and second batches of 467 publicly-funded rural teachers have arrived at their posts to perform their contracts.
