The twenty-four solar terms are the language that nature speaks to us, and it is also the creation of the poetic inhabitation of the ancients. In labor, people learn to respect nature, conform to nature, and live in harmony with nature. Spring ploughing, summer cultivation, autumn harvest, winter hiding, sunrise and work, daily inflow and rest, according to the climate, with the flow of time.
The sting is the third of the twenty-four solar terms, and it is also the beginning of the dry branch of the lunar month. During the sting season, the temperature warms up, the spring thunder moves, the rain increases, and nature begins to have a new vitality.
Sting, ancient called "qi sting". According to legend, the sixth emperor of the Han Dynasty, Emperor Jing of Han, changed the word "Qi" to a similar meaning in order to avoid it. At the same time, the order of the sting of the Mengchun New Moon and the "rain" of the Mid-Spring February Festival was also replaced. Similarly, the order of "Gu Yu" and "Qingming" was also replaced.
Before the beginning of the Han Dynasty, the order was Lichun-Qijing-Rainwater-Spring Equinox-Guyu-Qingming; the order of the Han Jing Emperor was Lichun-Rainwater-Stinging-Spring Equinox-Qingming-Guyu.
After entering the Tang Dynasty, the avoidance of the word "Qi" was no longer necessary, and the name "Qi" was used again. However, due to the fact that there are also reasons for not using the habit, the Great Yan Calendar once again used the word "sting" and continues to use it today.
The sting is the beginning of the moon, "卯", maoya, all things come out of the ground, representing vitality; so the month of 卯月 (february of the lunar calendar) is also the month of energy bursting, and the spring ploughing of the year begins. Therefore, this solar term is of great significance in the agricultural busyness. Since ancient times, it has been valued by the working people of our country and regarded it as the beginning of spring ploughing. The farmer also said: "After the Sting Festival, spring ploughing cannot rest." ”
The sting festival to smell the thunder, wake up the hibernating overwintering insects. In the "Interpretation of the Seventy-two Waiting Episodes of the Moon Order", it is said: "The February Festival... All things are shocked, and the earthquake is thunder, so it is known that the sting is stung, and it is the sting that frightens and leaves. Since everything was sprouting, these stingers who were "awakened" by the spring thunder began to act.
If you are careful, you will find those buds that sprout, bringing a new green of spring on both sides of the Yellow River.
Look at how Xia Xia, a friend of Journey to the West, has attracted thunder again and again to "wake up" the hibernating little frog, and what kind of story has happened between them?
