City have officially announced that Portuguese defender Ruben Díaz has been named Manchester City's Best Player for the 2020-21 season.
Díaz joined Manchester City last summer and has made 49 appearances in all competitions this season, with a pairing with Stones as Guardiola's most trusted defensive cornerstone.
After receiving the award, Díaz said: "I am very happy and proud, as a defender, I can get this award mainly thanks to the help of my teammates, and I am especially grateful to my teammates. ”
