Hollywood will create a biopic for Lang Lang
According to The Hollywood Reporter, American film and television production company Agc Studios will create a biographical film of Lang Lang. The film will be based on Lang Lang's autobiography Journey of a thousand miles.
Ron Howard, who won the Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Director in 2002 for A Beautiful Mind, will direct the film, with Michel Muroni and Kieran Muroni as writers and Lang Lang also serving as executive producers. The film is planned to be shot in China and the United States, and the dialogue will include Mandarin and English.
In a joint statement, Howard said: "Lang Lang's story is one of the inner strengths of determination, passion, sacrifice and the search to overcome difficulties. Carey Mulligan joins Bradley Cooper for a new film
Carey Mulligan confirmed to join Bradley Cooper's new film Maestro and play the lead actress.
"Maestro" tells the story of legendary music maestro Leonard Bernstein (Bradley Cooper) and his lover Felicia (Carey Mulligan) spanning more than 30 years. Leonard Bernstein is best known for writing the musical West End Story. He and his wife Felicia met at a party in 1946. He was engaged twice and married in 1951 with three children.
The film is Cooper's second directorial work after "A Star Is Born.". The film will be released next spring.
