In the Champagne Encyclopedia Weeperipra we wrote earlier, we briefly talked to you about a few key concepts on the Champagne label: vintage, sweetness, variety, land, wine merchant. I also introduced the different champagne classification methods in the concentration:
Many friends asked in the background, so what do we drink? In order to find out, we bought the 7 most common big-name champagne entry models on the market, and their prices are about 200-300 yuan, and then they can be bought in a treasure and many offline stores. They are: Princess Louis, Moët, Cede, Tetinger, Mamm, Dérom, Andrea de Paris!
We had two champagne tastings last weekend and drank them all with 24 penguin friends! Among these evaluators, there are melon eaters who do not often drink alcohol on weekdays and are full of curiosity about champagne; there are lovers who have drunk champagne several times but know nothing; and there are also old drivers in the wine circle who have tasted and drunk wine for many years!
Drink before full of expectations, look forward to these champagne can compete, after drinking can be bragged with friends: Alas, I told you, xx champagne I drank, and so on ~ after drinking, I found that between these big brand champagnes, it is true! There is no distance! We ask each evaluator present to cast two votes, one for the face value and one vote for the taste. Except for the unanimous preference of the expert group for the taste of Theroy Dream, and the unanimous spit on its appearance, the rest of the results are very different.
After the statistical evaluation form, the following results are obtained. The top three with the highest scores are shown in the figure:
I hope this review can help you at the end of the year and the beginning of the festival!

Appearance: Packaging beauty, you have the desire to take it home

Combining these six points, a champagne that performs well in all aspects and has a good balance can get a relatively high score. We synthesized the opinions of experts and the masses and ranked these champagnes according to the recommendation index.

delamotte brut Dry Champagne
Delon Champagne is the fifth oldest champagne factory in history, built in 1760, the 25th year of the Qianlong Dynasty. Its sister winery Salon Champagne (not the one that does the styling) is very cold, producing only vintage Champagne, and only two vintages after 2000, 2002 and 2004, with prices above ¥3000.
Delamotte also implements the spirit of high cold, streamlining the product line, producing only 4 models: brut, white champagne, vintage champagne, and rosé champagne. Although we drank the entry-level model, it was obvious that it had a lot of vision. Both the expert group and the small white group evaluators present unanimously said that they liked this bottle, so what taste of people with "noble taste buds"?
Penguin Wine Review: The wine is full of body, and the flavor of roasted hazelnuts and roasted almonds brought by yeast is remarkable! It felt like "drinking" a bite of freshly baked cereal bread with a little marmalade on top. Drink it, there are many ripe and sweet peach-like fruit flavors in your mouth! The acidity is in perfect balance with the whole wine! However, please make a long snack for the design of the bottle in the future!

Taittinger brut réserve Tatinje's collection of dry champagnes
The taittinger is still family owned. At the beginning of the article, we talked about Mr. Bond's love of champagne, but which brand he loves depends on which sponsor is willing to spend money. In several 007 films in recent years, Bond liked Bollinger, but in 1963's "007 Russian Love", Bond's favorite champagne was Taetting Zhe.
There is a bridge in the movie: Bond and his sister open a bottle of champagne while eating with the number one killer of the Devil's Party on the train, but the opponent orders a bottle of chianti red wine to accompany the fish! Red wine with white fish? Bond saw that something was wrong, so he raised his guard. So, what does Bond like to drink champagne taste like?
Penguin wine review: the aroma is full of white flowers, citrus fruits aroma, drink a wine with excellent balance, the overall soft, round, long and pleasant aftertaste, when many people gather, choose it is not wrong. "Someone else's child" - good looking, well-off, likable!

Perrier jouët brut Premium Dry Champagne of The Flower of Paris
This little duke of champagne was born out of a beautiful love story: pierre nicolas perrier, an oak stopper supplier, fell in love with Adele Jouët, the daughter of apple brandy producer, and successfully married her. Both loved champagne, so a year after their marriage, in 1811, they founded the Parisian Des Beaux-Des-Paris Champagnes. They have a clear division of labor, with Perrier in charge of export sales and Jouët taking care of the vineyards.
Her family's most famous wine, belle epoque, had a beautiful time, and it was as good as a mistake. People can't help but marvel that "this wine is only because it is in heaven". Back to reality, this introductory model we drink can also take you to a secret garden. What does it taste like?
Penguin wine review: wine as its name, drink a sip like a spring breeze, the taste of fresh apples and pears, the acidity is more moderate, the wine body is light, compared with the previous models, the taste of yeast is not so heavy, overall to the fruity dominant, less complex. But... Can't stand the high value of the face!
Louis roederer brut Low-sweetness first-class champagne by Princess Louis
Princess Louis came out in 1776 and is still family-owned. In 1870, Louis Roederer II had the foresight to expand into foreign markets, mainly targeting Russia. During the reign of Tsar Alexander II, the Tsar had paranoia about being persecuted (it may not be delusional, there were really many people who premeditated to kill him), afraid of the bomb hidden in the bottle, so he asked for a fully transparent, flat-bottomed bottle, so there was the famous crystal champagne cristal.
The 62-year-old cristal lies quietly and obediently like an unearthed artifact
What does this noble "princess" champagne taste like?
Penguin Wine Review: Aromatic, with fresh green fruit and mineral flavors. Elegant and light, with sharp acidity and more toast flavor in the mouth. The bubbles are delicate and finish with a lot of lime flavors. Noble and elegant, all of a sudden let those "charming cheap goods" inferior, drink a sip of feel that you are a relative of the emperor.
Veuve clicquot ponsardin brut Clicquot champagne
Veuve Clicquot has a subtle Chinese name, "Lady Champagne". But don't be fooled! Veuve means "widow" in French. It was named because, the head of the winery, Mrs. Ponsardin, became a widow at the age of 27, and she withstood the pressure to take over the entire family business, established her authority in the deceased family with amazing courage, and established the brand veuve clicquot. The widely used method of descaling bottles in Champagne brewing was invented by this lady.
Although we do not advocate feudal superstition, the feelings between people are very fragile, and this kind of wine with unclear meaning is still not appropriate for giving gifts during the festival. You can still drink at home to do the ladder climbing!
Penguin Wine Review: The wine is light, the mineral sense is obvious, the finish is shorter, slightly spicy, the bright "little yellow label" seems to light up the entire table, and the candlelight dinner is a good partner.

mumm cordon rouge mamm with red ribbon champagne
Malmården Red Belt Champagne is the best-selling product of G.H. Mumm, introduced in 1875. The striking red ribbon on the bottle is inspired by the French Legion of Honor légion d'honneur awarded by Napoleon. As you can see in the image below, the eye-catching red ribbon on the far right is the highest grade.
But the friends present frantically complained about the design of this wine label, and it is no wonder that when the f1 game ends, everyone has to spray it
That's right, at the awards ceremony of the Formula 1 competition, champagne spraying is reserved for the show. So how does this mumm taste?
Penguin Wine Review: Still a fruity wine. Fresh pears and apples, refreshing in the mouth, vibrant acidity, clean finish. But the biggest problem is that the lack of richness doesn't feel like the level a champagne should be.
moët chandon impérial brut Moët Champagne
It is said that for every 10 bottles of champagne sold in the world, one bottle is Moët Delight. And said that every 2 seconds in the world someone opens this bottle of champagne... Moët Sold 30 Million Bottles Last Year, making it the world's best-selling champagne. This is not surprising, after all, she threw money into advertising without ambiguity.
Penguin Wine Review: How to say it... A wine that is very moderate and even boring in every way. The aroma is biased towards the taste of ripe red apples, with medium acidity and medium body. On the palate there is some ginger pungency, mixed with apple and bread flavors, and the aftertaste is short, and some are slightly bitter. It's really big, but it lacks some of the pleasure that champagne is characteristic of.
There is a total list, take it without thanks!
After carefully reading the score list of 24 penguin friends and his own notes, Goose really felt that champagne, like many other drinks, was a very subjective drink. Despite the criteria of aroma, acidity, and richness complexity, everyone's preferences are very different – after all, the abstract concept of "balance" varies from person to person. Some people can eat lemon raw, naturally feel that the high acidity of the triumph is delicious; some people are sweet, naturally feel that the flowers and fruits are rich in paris flowers and fruits.
You're asking me which one is my favorite? Oh, after staying in Antarctica for such a long time, of course, I like the cold and severe, rich and complex Delek Dream!
