In 1945, war broke out between the North and the South of Korea, and in order to avoid another war, out of humanitarianism, on July 10 Chinese, 1950, the "Committee for the Movement of the Chinese People Against the United States Aggression Against Taiwan and Korea" was established

The origin of the ice sculpture company
Behind every war, there will always be touching deeds, and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea was no exception. Qiu Shaoyun was burned by the fire, but in order not to expose the troops, he maintained a posture until his death. Hu Xiudao was alone, and in order not to lose his position, he repelled the American charge forty-one times. They were more concerned about the victory of the war than their own sacrifice, and in this war, there was a unit that ambushed in the snow until it was frozen into ice sculptures, and posterity also honored them as "ice sculpture companies". That is, the "ice sculpture company" on the battlefield of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea did not shoot a single bullet, but it made the US military admire it endlessly.
At the end of 1950, our army deployed three armies stationed at Chosin Lake, and at this time the Chosin Lake area was already icy and snowy, and it can be said that the enemy in the Chosin Lake area was not only the US army, but also the cold weather could be regarded as the enemy. Because our army set out in a hurry and coincided with the founding of New China, it can be said that it was unprepared in terms of logistical supplies, so our army did not have cold clothing. It was also under these circumstances that our army fought with the American army while resisting the cold with its thin body.
The volunteers gritted their teeth and insisted
In the winter in the Chosin Lake area, there is often a situation where heavy snow does not exceed most of the body, and it is in this weather that the three companies of the Ninth Corps of our army are ordered to stick to The Eagle Ridge. Hearing this name, Dead Eagle Ridge knew that even eagles could not cross the Iron Ridge, and the three companies at that time, wearing thin long sleeves and burying their bodies in the snow, began to wait quietly for the arrival of the enemy. Because our army could not determine the whereabouts of the US troops at that time, the three companies did not dare to make a fire to warm up in the middle of the night, for fear of being found and ambushed by the enemy, they could only grit their teeth and insist in the snow.
The ambush of our army was indeed successful, and our army successfully ambushed the US army in the area of Dead Eagle Ridge, and this time the ambush also smoothly reversed the situation at that time. However, at the beginning of the war, our army found that a company stationed at Dead Eagle Ridge had not fired a single shot, which made all the troops involved in the blockade rush to a strange place, and when they arrived at their garrison positions, they found that a company of people maintained a state of gun in a state of holding guns, so that if the enemy was found, they could take the initiative to attack. Regrettably, however, before they had encountered the enemy, they were killed by the cold.
Frozen to death, no one evacuated
In the Battle of Chosin Lake, two companies were frozen to death, and the orders they received were to hold on, so even if they were frozen to death, none of them withdrew from their positions. Shortly before the Death Eagle Ridge Blockade, the U.S. military discovered another "Ice Sculpture Company." According to the recollection of the American army, they marched slowly and carefully in the snow, but in the snow and wind they found that there were troops stationed in front of them, and just when they thought that a fierce battle was about to begin, they unexpectedly found that the people of our army were motionless. So the U.S. military sent soldiers to investigate, only to find that our volunteers had been frozen into ice sculptures.
Even the powerful U.S. military had never seen such a scene, a company of soldiers motionless, frozen into ice sculptures by the cold weather. This was also admired by all the American soldiers, so they took off their hats in front of the positions they were stationed in salute. In the Battle of Chosin Lake, three companies of people were frozen into ice sculptures, and it can be said that in the Battle of Chosin Lake, although our country defeated the most elite Tenth Army of the US Army, we also paid a painful price.
In the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea 70 years ago, the weapons and equipment of our army were inferior to those of the United States, and the reason why we were able to defeat a strong enemy was because of the spirit of treating death as a homecoming
