The little mischievous Nicholas has accompanied many French people through a happy childhood, and has countless "little Nicholas fans" in France. Nikolai was a schoolboy who had just started school, and he had a bunch of "die-hards", just a bunch of buddies and brothers in school. These little guys are innocent and happy. Wherever they go, they become chaotic.
"Little Naughty Nicholas" is a masterpiece of collaboration between two French comic book masters. Gusini was responsible for writing the story, and Sambe was responsible for the illustrations. The narrative of the story is also based on the method of comics, and the pictures themselves are also wonderful stories.
Djodjo
We had a new one, in class. In the afternoon, the mistress arrived with a little boy who had all red hair, freckles and blue eyes like the marble I lost yesterday at recess, but Maixent cheated. "My children," said the teacher, "I present to you a new little comrade. He is a foreigner and his parents put him in this school so that he could learn to speak French. I am counting on you to help me and be very kind to him. And then the mistress turned to the new one and said, "Tell your name to your little comrades. The new one didn't understand what the mistress was asking of him, he smiled and we saw that he had terrible piles of teeth. "The veinard," said Alceste, a fat buddy, who eats all the time, with teeth like that. he must bite funny pieces! Since the new one said nothing, the mistress told us that his name was Georges Mac Intosh. "Yes," said the new one, "Dgeorges. "Sorry, mademoiselle," maixent asked, "his name is Georges or Dgeorges?" The mistress explained to us that his name was Georges, but that in his language, it was pronounced Dgeorges.

"Well," Maixent said, "we'll call him Jojo. "No," said Joachim, "you have to pronounce Djodjo. "Shut up, Djoachim," Maixent said, and the mistress put them both on the picket line.
The mistress made Djodjo sit next to Agnan. Agnan seemed to be wary of the new, as he is the first in the class and the darling of the mistress, he is always afraid of the new, who can become first and darlings. With us, Agnan knows he is quiet.
Djodjo sat down, still smiling full of teeth. "It's a shame that no one speaks their language," the mistress said. "I have some rudiments of English," said Agnan, who, it must be said, speaks well. But after Agnan took out his rudiments in Djodjo, Djodjo looked at him and then he started laughing and he tapped his forehead with his finger. Agnan was very upset, but Djodjo was right. Afterwards, it was known that Agnan had told him things about his tailor who was rich and about his uncle's garden which was bigger than his aunt's hat. He's crazy, Agnan!

Recess sounded and we all went out except Joachim, Maixent and Clotaire, who were being punished. Clotaire is the last in the class and he didn't know his lesson. When Clotaire is interrogated, he never has a recess.
In the courtyard, we all got around Djodjo. We asked him a lot of questions, but all he was doing was showing us loads of teeth. And then, he started talking, but we didn't understand anything, it was "oinshouinshouin" and that's it. "What there is," said Geoffroy, who goes to the cinema a lot, "is that he speaks in the original version. It would need subtitles. "Maybe I could translate," said Agnan, who wanted to try his rudiments one more time. "Bah," said Rufus, "you're crazy!" He liked it, the new one, he pointed to Agnan and said, "Wow! Dinguedinguedingue! He was very happy. Agnan, he left crying, he cries all the time, Agnan. We started to find him funny, Djodjo, and I gave him a piece of my chocolate piece from recess. "What do we do as a sport in your country?" asked Eudes. Djodjo, of course, did not understand, he kept saying "crazy-crazy crazy", but Geoffroy replied "Here's a question, they play tennis, at home! "Kind of guignol," cried Eudes, "I don't speak to you! — Species guignol! Crazy! " shouted the new one who seemed to have a lot of fun with blurs. But Geoffrey had not liked the way Eudes had answered him. "Who is a guignol?" he asked and he was wrong because Eudes is very strong and he likes to punch the noses and it did not miss for Geoffroy's. When he saw the punch, Djodjo stopped saying "dinguedingue" and "species guignol". He looked at Eudes and said, "Boxing? Very good! And he put his fists in front of his face and he started dancing all around Eudes like the boxers on television at Clotaire's, because we don't have one yet and I would like Dad to buy one. "What takes from him?" asked Eudes. "He wants to box with you, big smart guy!" replied Geoffroy who rubbed his nose. Eudes said "good" and he tried to box with Djodjo. But Djodjo was doing much better than Eudes. He gave her a whole bunch of blows and Eudes started to get angry: "If he doesn't leave his nose in place, how do you want me to fight?" he shouted and bing! Djodjo punched Eudes and knocked him down sitting. Eudes was not angry. "You're tough!" he said as he got up. "Tough, crazy, kind of guignol!" replied the newcomer, who learns funny fast. Recess ended, and, as usual, Alceste complained that he was not given time to finish the four buttery buns he brought home.

In class, when we walked in, the teacher asked Djodjo if he had any fun, so Agnan stood up and said, "Miss, they teach her swear words! "That's not true, dirty liar! " shouted Clotaire, who had not gone out for recess.
"Crazy, kind of guignol, dirty liar," said Djodjo proudly.
We didn't say anything, because we saw that the mistress was not happy at all.
"You should be ashamed," she said, "to take advantage of a comrade who ignores your language! I asked you to be nice, but we can't trust you! You behaved like little savages, badly behaved! "Crazy, a kind of guignol, dirty liar, wild, ill-mannered," said Djodjo, who seemed increasingly happy to learn so much.
The mistress looked at him with round eyes. "But... but, she said, Georges, don't say things like that! "Have you seen, mademoiselle?" What was I telling you? Agnan said. "If you don't want to stay restrained, Agnan," the mistress shouted, "I'll beg you to keep your thoughts to yourself!" Agnan started crying. "Ugly cockroach!" someone shouted, but the mistress didn't know who it was, otherwise, I would have been punished, so, Agnan rolled on the ground shouting that no one loved him, that it was awful and that he was going to die, and the mistress had to go out with him to pass water on his face and calm him down.

When the teacher came back, with Agnan, she looked tired, but fortunately, the bell rang at the end of the class. Before leaving, the mistress looked at the new one and said, "I wonder what your parents will think. "Ugly cockroach," Djodjo replied, giving him a hand.
The mistress was wrong to worry, because Djodjo's parents must have thought that he had learned all the French he needed.
The proof is that Djodjo has not returned to school.
