The relevant responsible persons of Cargill and the personnel of the power generation group, power design institute, transformer plant, power grid company and industry association participating in the celebration witnessed the opening of the FR3 natural ester Yangjiang factory online and offline. On the same day, at the celebration site of Cargill Grain and Oil (Yangjiang) Company located in the Port Industrial Park of Yangjiang High-tech Zone, the guests poured water onto the LOGO table together, and the six big characters of "Jia" oil and green water and green mountains rose, marking the official opening of Cargill natural ester FR3 Yangjiang factory.
Xie Yanju, deputy director of the management committee of the high-tech zone, said in his speech that the current high-tech zone is vigorously developing the offshore wind power industry, the transformer is one of the key firmwares in the wind turbine tower, and the completion of the FR3 natural ester production line will further improve the new energy industry chain of the high-tech zone. According to reports, Cargill FR3 natural ester Yangjiang factory is Cargill's first FR3 factory in China, the factory covers an area of 6,000 square meters, investment of 50 million yuan, the first phase of the project has been put into operation, is expected to have an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons. The production of FR3 natural esters is a transformer insulating oil based on natural plant seeds and is also a sustainable innovation for Cargill in the bio-industry. The raw material is 100% renewable, the carbon emission is only about 1.8% of conventional mineral oil, and the load capacity of the transformer can be optimized, making it more cost-effective, safe and environmentally friendly.
