Recently, GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd., and Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. 1. GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. has decided to recall the following vehicles from April 16, 2022, for a total of 468465 units.
Some Of the Willanda cars produced between April 15, 2020 and July 6, 2020 totaled 18,402 units; some C-HR cars produced between July 27, 2018 and July 7, 2020, totaling 105165 units; and some Camry vehicles produced between December 7, 2017 and October 10, 2020, totaling 344898 units.
2. Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. decided to recall the following vehicles from August 31, 2022, for a total of 194058 vehicles.
Some Yize automobiles produced between May 4, 2018 and July 10, 2020, a total of 93,792 units, and some Asian Dragon automobiles produced between March 5, 2019 and September 4, 2020, a total of 100266 units.
3. Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. has decided to recall the following vehicles from April 16, 2022, for a total of 127496 vehicles.
Some imported Lexus UX200 vehicles produced between December 24, 2018 and May 18, 2020, totaling 609 units; some imported Lexus UX260h vehicles produced between December 24, 2018 and April 24, 2020, for a total of 12,364 units; and some imported Lexus ES300h vehicles produced between February 13, 2018 and April 24, 2020, for a total of 60,751 units A portion of the imported Lexus ES200 vehicles produced between July 29, 2019 and April 17, 2020, totaling 39,636 units, and a portion of the imported Lexus ES260 vehicles produced between June 25, 2018 and April 28, 2020, totaling 14,136 vehicles.
4. Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. Changchun Fengyue Company decided to recall some RAV4 Rongfang vehicles produced between October 14, 2019 and July 30, 2020 from April 16, 2022, with a total of 108235 vehicles.
The internal components of the engine exhaust gas recirculation valve (EGR valve) of the vehicle within the scope of this recall may be corroded by the higher concentration of chlorine in the fuel, resulting in poor valve body movement. It may cause the engine to run poorly, and in extreme cases, the vehicle will be turned off at low speed, increasing the risk of collision accidents and potential safety hazards.
GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd., and Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. Changchun Fengyue Company will replace the modified EGR valve assembly for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.

Recently, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulations in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. With effect from now on, the Company will recall 1,136 Dongfeng Nissan Venucia brand D60EV and T60EV electric vehicles manufactured from May 8, 2021 to July 20, 2021.
Due to the manufacturer's manufacturing reasons, the relay parts of the high-voltage distribution box in the power battery pack are not welded enough, and the welded parts may break after long-term durable use, resulting in the relay not working. If the relay welding part is broken during the driving process of the vehicle, it will cause the interruption of the vehicle power and there is a safety hazard.
Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. will check the batch number of the high-voltage distribution box in the power battery pack for the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge, and replace the parts belonging to the risk batch with qualified parts to eliminate the safety hazards.
Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. recalls some imported Taycan series electric vehicles
Recently, Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulations in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. Effective December 10, 2021, recall some imported 2020-2021 Taycan series pure electric vehicles produced between June 18, 2020 and November 10, 2020, for a total of 19 vehicles.
Some vehicles covered by this recall may not meet the specified tightening requirements during the manufacturing process in the construction process of the control arm on the rear axle and the housing of the wheel bearing. Loose threaded connections may cause relative displacement of suspension components, and abnormal noise may occur when the vehicle is driving; if the threaded connection fails, it will lead to sudden driving instability, affect the handling of the vehicle, increase the risk of accidents in the vehicle, and there are safety hazards.
Porsche (China) Automotive Sales Co., Ltd. will inspect the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge through authorized dealers, and replace the new nuts and bolts and tighten them to their original specifications if the threaded connection of the control arm on the rear axle does not meet the specified tightening requirements. In addition, the surrounding parts will be inspected for indirect damage and the damaged parts will be replaced according to the inspection results to eliminate safety hazards.
