Zhejiang Cultural Research Project is the first provincial large-scale academic research project launched in the field of humanities and social sciences in China, covering four major sections of Zhejiang Contemporary Development Research, Zhejiang History and Culture Special Topic Research, Zhejiang Celebrity Research and Zhejiang Historical Literature Collation, which was initiated by General Secretary Xi Jinping and personally served as the director of the Steering Committee, setting the direction, topic, requirements and general order for the research project, which is a useful exploration of excavating historical context, building academic brands, casting national spirit, and strengthening cultural self-confidence.
As a major topic of the sixth batch of the second phase of the Zhejiang Cultural Research Project, the "Annals of Zhejiang Literary Translators" contains eight key sub-topics. Wang Zuoliang
Born in 1916 in Shangyu, Zhejiang Province, Mr. Wang Zuoliang is an important expert, translator and educator of English literature in China, who was the director of the Institute of Foreign Literature of Beijing University of Foreign Chinese, translated a large number of poetry, prose and drama works, and published more than 50 translation works and personal monographs such as "On Fit- Comparative Literature Research Collection", "History of English Romantic Poetry", "History of British Poetry", "History of British Twenty World Literature", "History of British Renaissance Literature", "History of English Renaissance Literature", etc. The field of English literary history has had a profound impact.

The "Annals of Wang Zuoliang" research group has collected a large number of precious historical materials from the Wang Zuoliang Institute for Advanced Study of Foreign Literature of Beijing Chinese University, the History Museum of Beijing Chinese University, the History Museum of Tsinghua University, the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature, etc., and has received strong support and help from Mr. Wang Zuoliang's friends, disciples and other people. At present, the research group has promoted the writing of the manuscript of the "Annals of Wang Zuoliang" in accordance with the unified requirements of the major topic "Zhejiang Literary Translator's Annals".
