On December 17, Mercedes-Benz EQS was officially listed, priced at 1.0796-1.5186 million yuan. The new car is positioned as Mercedes-Benz's flagship pure electric sedan, adopting the Design Style of the Mercedes-Benz EQ family and equipped with the MBUX Hyperscreen system in the car. In terms of endurance, the maximum range is up to 849 km (CLTC standard).
Mercedes-Benz EQS adopts a very smooth styling design, the whole vehicle line is very beautiful, but also contains a sense of sport, such as the shape of the front of the car is more ferocious, the huge grille is connected to the headlights, and the fog light area similar to the shape of the wind knife is very exaggerated. In addition, the rear of the vehicle is equipped with a tail wing in the shape of a ducktail.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS does not adopt the traditional sedan shape, the low C-pillar and short tail are typical coupe designs, and since the electric motor does not take up too much space, its internal space performance should be very good. Mercedes-Benz EQS will offer EQS 450+ and EQS 580 4MATIC+ models, with a drag coefficient of only 0.20, of which EQS 450+ is a single-motor version and EQS 580 4MATIC+ is a dual-motor version. The EQS 580 4MATIC+ has a maximum power rating of up to 380 kW and an acceleration time of 4.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
The vehicle also offers 4 driving modes, 3 charging modes, 3 energy recovery modes (D+, D,D-) to choose from, and the EQS 580 4MATIC+ model is also equipped with an intelligent timely four-wheel drive system and 4-wheel air suspension, which can monitor torque on the wheel 10,000 times per minute and carry out intelligent, continuous variable distribution of torque. When the speed exceeds 120 km / h, the body drops by 20 mm, below 80 km / h, returning to normal height; if the speed is less than 40 km / h, the body can be set to raise 25 mm, more than 50 km / h, to restore normal altitude.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS is equipped with a 111.8 kWh power battery with a range of up to 849 km at EQS 450+CLTC and 720 km at EQS 580 4MATIC+CLTC. And the vehicle also adopts Mercedes-Benz self-developed battery management system, the battery management software can be remotely upgraded by OTA, and it is kept updated throughout the life cycle of the vehicle; the thermal management system preheats/pre-cools the battery based on navigation and charging information to maintain the optimal operating temperature.
In terms of charging, based on a 400-volt high-voltage battery system, the EQS can replenish the power from 10% to 80% in 48 minutes in the 110 kW DC charging mode, and from 10% to 80% in 37 minutes at the fastest under specific charging power conditions (charging power up to 145 kW).
