Peng Meikui, niece of Mr. Peng: When his uncle fell into distress, he did not abandon him, and was buried next to the marshal's tomb after his death

Speaking of General Peng Da, who was immediately crossed, I think everyone is no stranger, he has conquered the south and the north in this life, galloped on the battlefield, and made great achievements for the revolution. Unfortunately, the invincible Mr. Peng has no descendants, even if he has two marriages, but he has not been able to give birth to a son and a half daughter. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Peng poured his love for his children into his nephews and nieces and took care of them. And the children are also very close to their uncle Mr. Peng, especially Peng Meikui we are going to talk about today.

Peng Meikui's father was the eldest brother of Mr. Peng, named Peng Jinhua. Under the influence of his brother, Peng Jinhua also participated in the revolution in his early years, but was unfortunately killed by Kuomintang agents during the War of Resistance. When the bad news came, the mother failed to withstand the blow, and finally went insane, and 12-year-old Peng Meikui had to support the suffering family. The setbacks of life did not overthrow Peng Meikui, but tempered her indomitable and strong will, she went to primary school, junior high school, shida high school, and finally became an excellent doctor.

In 1950, Peng Meikui and five children of the same ethnic group came to Beijing, where they met Uncle Peng, who was thinking of the twilight. Peng Meikui had heard the legendary story of his uncle when he was a child, and had always admired him, and when he was in adversity, Peng Meikui also took Mr. Peng as an example, encouraging and spurring himself. When he saw the children, Mr. Peng was excited, and he chatted with them like a kind father and played games. It was from this day that Peng Meikui began to truly enter the life of his uncle, the world-famous military man, and accompanied him throughout his life.

History is moving in twists and turns, in 1959, the wind and clouds suddenly changed, and Mr. Peng was far away from the temple and lived idly in the Wu Family Garden. As soon as people fall into difficulty, they can experience the cold and warmth of the world. At that time, everyone began to alienate the marshal, and even his wife, Urayasu, filed for divorce. Only Peng Meikui ignored the cold questions of the outside world and went to visit his uncle in the Wu family garden as always, sewing clothes for him, chatting and relieving boredom, which made the marshal's lonely soul get a little relief.

On November 29, 1974, the cold wind in Beijing whistled, and the atmosphere of winter slaughter was overwhelming. The marshal lay calmly on the hospital bed, and a hot heart that had been beating for 76 years suddenly stopped. Soon, the staff informed Peng Meikui to come to the hospital, and she was lying on her uncle's body and crying bitterly...

Time flew by, and in 1985, Peng Meikui, a doctor who saved lives and helped the injured, retired from his post. In her later years, she donated money to Peng Zong Hope Primary School and the flood victims of Hunan Province, and wrote "My Uncle Peng Dehuai" to commemorate her most beloved uncle. On September 13, 2005, Peng Meikui completed her legendary life at the age of 76. According to the old man's last wishes, her ashes were buried back in her hometown of Xiangtan, Hunan, only ten meters away from the marshal's tomb.
