After that, Urayasu and the marshal only met twice.
The first meeting, at the end of November 1965, the marshal went to the "Southwest Third Line" before.
In the autumn of 1965, the marshal was appointed deputy director of the Southwest Third Line Construction Committee.
Before leaving, the marshal was eager to meet with Urayasu before leaving. So I wrote a text message: Comrade Anxiu, I left Beijing within a few days to live in him, I wanted to see you on the trip, I was afraid that there would be inconvenience, so I did not make the trip..."

Pu Anxiu read the letter and said to Peng Meikui, "Don't let him come, I'll see him tomorrow." ”
According to the agreed time, Pu Anxiu was accompanied by her niece to the Wu Family Garden in Hangjiatun. After meeting, the marshal and Urayasu talked for a long time. After Pu Anxiu left, the marshal instructed his secretary, Kuiying, to "Take a sum of money out of my deposit and leave it to Uranxiu." ”
The second meeting, on August 11, 1967, was held at the 10,000-person conference of the Beijing Normal University.
At the 10,000-person assembly, Urayasu and Marshal were escorted to the venue. Several people punched and kicked Urayasu. The marshal's heart was like a knife, and he cried out like a madman: "Hit me!" She and I broke up long ago and she is innocent! Let her go! She has no responsibility! ”
This meeting is the last time the two will meet. Until the marshal's death in 1974, Urayasu never saw her husband again.
In 1974, the cancer-stricken marshal's condition took a sharp turn for the worse, and he was sweating profusely from intense pain.
Soon, he was half paralyzed and lost the ability to take care of himself. Peng Meikui, Peng Kangbai and Peng Gang served their uncles with all their hearts.
One day, Peng Meikui came to see Uncle. The marshal struggled to remember, but he couldn't get up. Tears welled up from the marshal's deep eye sockets, and he said, "Mei Kui, what should I do about this?" I'm paralyzed, I can't take care of myself anymore, my case hasn't been clarified..."
After June 1974, the marshal often fainted, and when he was awake, he often said: "No night, no dark during the day." ”
In September 1974, the marshal fell critically ill.
One day, a member of the special case team asked Peng Meikui, "Peng Meikui, is there anyone else in your family who has come to see him (marshal)?" ”
Peng Meikui shook his head.
The people in the task force said, "Isn't there Urayasu?" When he (the marshal) went to the third line, didn't Urayasu go to the station to see him off? ”
Peng Meikui corrected: "They are divorced. She didn't go to send it off either. ”
The people in the task force went to Urayasu and asked her, "He (the marshal) is seriously ill and hospitalized, do you want to go and see him?" It's up to you. ”
Urayasu was suspicious, why should I decide for myself? What do you mean?
Urayasu couldn't make up her mind, she thought and thought, and finally, she shook her head and said, "I still won't go." ”
At noon on November 27, 1974, Peng Meikui went to see his uncle. The marshal's eyes were closed and he was in a deep coma.
Peng Meikui pressed against Uncle's ear and cried out with tears in his eyes: "Uncle, Meikui has come to see you, you open your eyes to see me." But Uncle didn't look at her again.
At noon on November 29, large drops of tears flowed down the marshal's wrinkled and age-stained cheeks to the pillow.
At about 3:33 p.m. on November 29, 1974, the marshal's heart stopped beating.
After the death of his uncle, Peng Meikui cried bitterly. After that, Peng Meikui went to Beijing Normal University to find Pu Anxiu and told her the bad news of her uncle's death, and Peng Meikui asked her: "Do you want to see uncle's body?" ”
