Yang Qingbo said in an interview with the Zero Concert Hall that "Han Jiang Song" was reorganized and adapted by himself before the Chaozhou string poetry "Dream Haunting Mother River", and the main theme flowed out of his heart and was completed in one go. The music is divided into four sections: "Han Shui Chunman", "Light Boat Swinging Wave", "Yunsuo Xiangqiao", "Hundred Sails", Chaozhou music elements always run through the whole piece, each time the main melody is reproduced, it will be changed and unfolded according to the mood and emotion of the music, each time it is refreshing.
Yang Qingbo was influenced by his father and siblings from an early age, and was first studied by his third uncle Yang Yecheng (Yang Hantong), his fifth uncle Yang Hanrong, and his eldest brother Yang Qinglin, who first learned Chaozhou three strings, pipa and guzheng, and later specialized in small three strings.

After working in the Chaozhou City Cultural Center in 2003, Yang Qingbo began to compose music, and his works were mainly Based on Chaozhou culture, and Chaozhou music included Chaozhou Big Gong and Drum, Chaozhou Small Gong and Drum, Chaozhou String Music and Chaozhou Temple Music. This "Song of Han Jiang" belongs to the Chaozhou string music, the second string of the leading instrument, as well as the coconut hu and tihu, are unique instruments in Chaozhou music, which play an important role in the music and effectively strengthen the expressiveness and appeal of the music. "Han Jiang Song" has a large number of Chao opera musical elements, after all, Chao opera and Chaozhou music are twin brothers, from the mode, notation style, plate style and Wenpan Wupan musical instruments, bronzes, etc. are shared, and The Chaozhou music will also be quoted as a large number of Cutscere music and emotional music on the Chao opera stage.
