Musk recently confirmed on Twitter that his 2021 tax revenue will reach around $11 billion (about 70.1 billion yuan) due to the sale of Tesla stock this year. That $11 billion in taxes is equivalent to more than $1.5 million musk has paid every day since he became a U.S. citizen in 2002, or $1 million since he started school at the University of Pennsylvania in 1992.
Musk's 2021 tax estimates are also in line with the expectations of agencies such as CNBC (Consumer News and Business Channel), which noted that Tesla's CEO has paid $7 billion in state and federal taxes this year and is expected to pay about $5 billion by Jan. 1, 2022. And in fact, many American politicians have accused Musk of being suspected of tax evasion, and US Senator Elizabeth Warren is even more sarcastic that Musk is "sucking blood" from the back of the working people in the United States. But considering that Musk actually pays $1 million worth of taxes every day in the United States (if you count from the beginning of his studies at the University of Pennsylvania), then this "vampire" may really have to return part of the blood he had previously sucked...
