Today is the "Tanabata Festival", and it is time for couples to abuse single dogs with flowers in their hands, but have you ever thought: what were couples in the war-torn era of China more than 80 years ago experiencing?
Below, let's take a look at the love story that happened on the Long March Road that year, which makes people very emotional.
The hero of the story is called Wang Shoudao, who served as China's Minister of Communications after the founding of the People's Republic of China and is known as the founder of China's transportation industry; the heroine is Wang Quanyuan, a soldier of the Red Army.
Back in 1935, when the Red Army captured Zunyi, Wang Shoudao and Wang Quanyuan were assigned to the same department by chance, and the two were just in their youth, so they had a feeling of affection when they came and went. However, at that time, it was not as open as it is today, and the two twisted and pinched people decided to be together under the strong mediation of colleagues and leaders.
In that era, the poor were so poor that they only had one life left, and even if they paid attention to what cards, in the noise of the crowd, the two people hastily worshiped heaven and earth and married, and the "bride price" given to his wife by Wang Shoudao was only a pistol and a few bullets.
The ceremony is simple and the process is casual, but this does not prevent the two from having a deep affection. According to Wang Quanyuan's idea, she originally planned to spend two days to make a pair of thousand-layer cloth shoes for her husband, which was considered a "dowry", but the urgent war situation made her wish frustrated, and when the Red Army announced its withdrawal from Zunyi City, Wang Quanyuan, who had been selected to join the Ministry of Health, had to wave goodbye to her husband Wang Shoudao.
It was not until June 26, after several days of confrontation with the reactionaries, that the situation facing the Red Army was stabilized, and Wang Shoudao and Wang Quanyuan were able to meet. However, the moment of meeting is always short, and in less than a day, the two are going their separate ways.
They didn't know that this difference was half a lifetime!

It turned out that just after the two separated, Wang Quanyuan's unit was surrounded by reactionaries, and the women's regiment of the Western Route Army led by her suffered heavy casualties, and even Wang Quanyuan, who was the leader of the regiment, was also captured. After that, although Wang Quanyuan escaped from the cage after all the hardships, she lost contact with the large troops.
In order to find her husband and find the organization, Wang Quanyuan gritted her teeth and begged all the way to Lanzhou, Gansu Province, for two years, but here, she got a message like a thunderbolt on a sunny day - her husband Wang Shoudao left her a letter, denouncing her betrayal of the revolution and declaring that she would never come back again!
Discouraged, Wang Quanyuan returned to her hometown and married a local farmer, and has since become anonymous.
So, where was the first way of the king at that time? Why is he so desperate?
This contradiction was not solved until 1982, when the two met again.

It turned out that Wang Shoudao had never written such a letter, and at that time he was waiting bitterly in Yan'an, waiting for three years, but there was no news of his wife, and in despair, he even thought that her wife had been sacrificed. As for the letter, it was deliberately forged by those who were intent on revenge because they were pursuing Wang Quanyuan!
Because of such a letter, two people who truly love each other have missed more than 40 years!
Fortunately, fate did not disappoint them after all, and Wang Quanyuan, who came to Beijing by chance in 1982, happened to be learned by Wang Shoudao, and after being excited, he quickly arranged for the two to meet.
After hearing such news, Wang Quanyuan suddenly burst into tears and murmured in her mouth: "Finally seen!" "Yes, I finally saw it!" How much suffering she has suffered and how many years she has waited for this side!
In 1994, when the two old men met again in Beijing, Wang Shoudao was critically ill and Wang Quanyuan brought a pair of thousand-layer cloth shoes to visit him. For Wang Shoudao, this was probably the most desired gift in his life!
Two years later, on September 13, 1996, Wang Shoudao passed away. Wang Quanyuan, on the other hand, died of illness in 2009. When they got there, the two could finally get back together.
