This female Red Army regimental commander named Wang Quanyuan, born in 1914 in Ji'an, Jiangxi, she herself is not surnamed "Wang", but the surname "Ouyang", her parents named her "Ouyang Quanyuan", which means quanquanyuan, nothing is lacking.
Although the name is good, but in that era, there is no shortage of anything that the average family does not dare to think, Wang Quanyuan was 9 years old, she was sold by her parents to a neighboring village as a child bridesmaid, changed her name to Wang Quanyuan.
In 1930, after the success of the local peasant revolt, Wang Quanyuan was exposed to progressive ideas, and soon after, she joined the revolution and became a women's officer of the Communist Youth League, often doing propaganda work to liberate women and freedom of marriage.
Soon, Wang Quanyuan's talents were discovered by the leaders, she was transferred to the Xianggan Province Women's Department officer, in October 1933, Wang Quanyuan attended the Second National Congress of Soviets, in Ruijin, she met many long-admired Communist Party leaders, and discussed major issues with them.

In 1935, Wang Quanyuan followed the Red Army north to Zunyi, Guizhou.
When she arrived in Zunyi, she was transferred from the cadre recuperation company to the local work department, and during the day, together with Cai Chang, Jin Weiying, and Wang Shoudao, she publicized the party's principles and policies to the masses and mobilized the masses to actively participate in the revolution.

In 1932, when Wang Quanyuan was studying in the women's class, she saw Wang Shoudao again. At that time, Wang Quanyuan was participating in sports activities with her sisters, and a young man walked by, and the provincial women's minister introduced to them: "This is Comrade Wang Shoudao, secretary of the provincial party committee." ”
Wang Shoudao looked at the girls, and before he could speak, Wang Quanyuan rushed to say, "I have heard the chief's report, and I have spoken very well." ”

The next evening, Cai Chang and Jin Weiying came to Wang Quanyuan's residence together, the three of them chatted together, Wang Quanyuan also told everyone about his unfortunate experience, and the two eldest sisters felt the same tears.

On the march, the two people had a short chance to meet each other, but there was not much time to get along, after crossing the snowy mountains, the two people met again, and this side almost became their trick.
In October 1936, Wang Quanyuan received orders to lead more than 1,300 officers and men to join the Red Fourth Front in the Great Bloody Battle of Hexi
However, as soon as Wang Quanyuan crossed the Yellow River, he fell into the enemy's encirclement, and after a series of defeated battles, the number of the Western Route Army was sharply reduced from 21,800 to 15,000, and the women's anti-Japanese vanguard regiment led by Wang Quanyuan also fled into the Qilian Mountains under the pursuit.
The conquest for several days has exhausted this group of female fighters, exhausted of ammunition, and a group of people walking in rags in the wind and snow, some of them died in battle, some were taken away as little wives, and Wang Quanyuan was assigned to Ma Jinchang, the leader of the horse bandit regiment, and after a year, she managed to escape.

Some people let out a message saying that Wang Quanyuan had sworn not to return to Yan'an and not to be a Red Army, and left a letter for Wang Shoudao, saying that she would never see him again.
Wang Quanyuan was hit by a thunderbolt on a sunny day, in despair, she returned to her hometown, on the way, Wang Quanyuan met a car driver named Wan ling, the other party promised to escort her home, in order to survive, Wang Quanyuan married him, a year later, Wan Ling found another woman, left Wang Quanyuan and ran.
In July 1942, when Wang Quanyuan returned to her hometown in rags and her legs and feet, the family did not dare to recognize her, and for a long time after that, people only knew that she was once a female regimental commander of the Red Army, and Wang Quanyuan never mentioned her past.
Later, Wang Quanyuan married a descendant of a revolutionary martyr named Liu Gaohua, went to the land to farm, and was self-sufficient.
Reunion

In the summer of 1981, Wang Quanyuan boarded a train bound for Beijing, and this time she was invited to join the China Women's Federation, and she also wanted to ask Kang Keqing to testify for herself and restore her party membership.
In the guest house in Beijing, many old comrades-in-arms came to visit her, and Wang Shoudao, who learned the news of Wang Quanyuan, also came, 46 years, enough to turn two young people with beautiful style into white-haired old people.
Wang Shoudao held out his hand first: "Comrade Quanyuan, how are you?" ”
Wang Quanyuan walked over and shook Wang Shoudao's hand, the man in front of her was once her husband, but also her own comrade-in-arms, she did not expect that she could see him again.
At the same time, Wang Quanyuan still had many questions in her heart, since she was rejected by the office, it has been difficult to let go, she paused for a moment, asked out: "I want to ask you a question, some people said that I left you a letter in the office, saying that I said in the letter that I would never go to Yan'an, and also said that I would break off relations with you." ”

I don't know about this letter, I waited for you for three years in Yan'an, when someone said that you sacrificed, at the beginning, I didn't believe it, after waiting for three years you still didn't come back, I thought you really sacrificed, only to become a family again, I never believed in the gossip that said you were not good.......
Wang Shoudao couldn't say any more, he covered his face with his hands, tears oozing down his fingers.
After a pause, Wang Shoudao continued: "We, all old, let the past things pass, if I remember correctly, you should be 68 years old, right?" ”

"Yeah, you remember?"
"How can you forget, you will never forget it for the rest of your life."
The two men sat down for a while, and Wang Shoudao led Wang Quanyuan to the comrades of the Women's Federation:
"Wang Quanyuan is a good comrade, she has been treated unfairly for decades, this is unfair to her, in terms of her qualifications, her qualifications, how many requirements are not excessive, but she has never been, although her family is very poor, she is very important to the party organization, I hope you can help her solve relevant problems."
This meeting did not last long, but it fulfilled Wang Quanyuan's wish for half a century.

At this time, Wang Shoudao was sick and hospitalized, but he still told the staff not to have outsiders present.
After saying hello, Wang Quanyuan took out a pair of black cloth shoes with a thousand-layer bottom from the cloth bag she carried with her, and when Wang Shoudao took the cloth shoes, her hands were trembling.
"You have not forgotten your promise in Zunyi!"

Before leaving, Wang Shoudao proposed, "Let's take a picture of it", after saying that, he took Wang Quanyuan's arm, and Wang Shoudao's daughter Wang Weibin took the first and last group photo of the two old people in their lives.

Wang Weibin also told Wang Quanyuan that his father's ashes would be buried in his hometown in Liuyang, and Wang Quanyuan said: "When the time comes, you will tell me that I will definitely go back to your father's burial ceremony, and if there is a spirit in heaven, he will definitely smile at Jiuquan." ”
On April 6, 2009, Wang Quanyuan passed away at the age of 96.
