The temperature drops significantly, a good companion for hard disks: Josper released the M.2 active heatsink

When it comes to the DIY field of personal PCs, I believe that many friends have studied a lot on the radiators of the processor, what water-cooled, air-cooled, what down-pressure, tower-type, all kinds of classifications. In other accessories, for friends with more extreme needs, they may also consider replacing the heatsink of the graphics card, putting a heatsink on the hard disk and other operations.

Recently, Josper launched an active heatsink for M.2 SSDs, called M.2-10.

The M.2 heatsink features an aluminum heatsink and a fan with a maximum speed of 3000RPM, a maximum airflow of 4.81CFM, a maximum wind pressure of 4.08mmH2O and a maximum noise of 27.3dB.

According to Josper, with the blessing of this M.2 heatsink, the full load temperature of the flash memory particles of the Samsung 980PRO 500G SSD can be 26 °C lower than that of the no heatsink, and the main control chip can be 37 °C lower than the no heatsink, and the effect looks quite significant.

Of course, although the Samsung 980PRO was tested in the introduction, and Josper said that this is a device prepared for PCIe 4.0 SSD, such an M.2 active heatsink seems to be more for PCIe 5.0 hard disks in the future. Incidentally, this is not the first M.2 active radiator on the market, as early as 2017, Weigang released a similar product - XPG Storm.

As for the price, Josper does not seem to have announced, what price do you think such a product will be booked?
