From January 1 to 2, 2022, Liaoning Ballet will perform the ballet "Swan Lake" at the Guangzhou Grand Theatre. It is reported that the dance drama is starred by the all-star lineup of Liaoning Ballet, including the star dancers of "Dance Storm", Liaoba Principal Ao Dingwen and Wang Zhanfeng, The Principal Dancer of Liaoning Ballet Zhang Haidong, and Li Kaiyi, Zhang Yikun, Chang Snow and other major actors, setting off a new trend of ballet art in the New Year of 2022.
This version of the dance drama is the 25th edition of the world's "Swan Lake" tailored by "Dancer of the Century" Vladimir Malakhov for Liaoning Ballet, which not only continues the aesthetic style of the previous 24 versions, but also gives a new annotation. Mr. Malakhov poured all his understanding and feelings about "Swan Lake" into the creation of the dance drama, and improved many dance sections, whether solo, double or group dance, all of which are new and unique, with continuous highlights, both classical temperament and contemporary style, which is very infectious. In addition, this version also redefines the magic passage, so that the audience is both familiar and occasionally surprised throughout the course of the play. The poignant ending gives the audience more imagination space to define the romantic story of the prince and princess in their hearts.
Vladimir Marachov
Born in KRIVOY ROG in Ukraine, Vladimir Malakhov began studying ballet at the age of 4, studied at the ballet school of the Bolshoi Theater at the age of 10 under the guidance and supervision of the ballet educator Petr Pestov, and became the youngest principal performer of the Bolshoi Ballet after graduating in 1986. Recognized as one of the greatest dancers in the world today, Malakhov has won gold medals in international competitions in Varna, Moscow and Paris, and has captivated audiences with his superb craftsmanship and lyrical performances.
Founded in 1980, Liaoning Ballet is one of the famous ballet companies in China.
