Yi Yin, Ming Zhi, (1649 BC – 1549 BC?) He was born in The Khlong Sangjian of the Kingdom of Youxin, because his mother was a servant and lived in Yishui, with Yi as his clan. Yi Yin was a famous minister and politician in the early years of the Shang Dynasty of China, and was the ancestor of Chinese cooks, and Yin was one of the right ministers. He was originally a dowry slave of the Xin clan. He married shangtang and became a chef for shangtang. Yi Yin has great ambitions and is not willing to be a slave, so he uses the opportunity to eat from Shang Tang to analyze the situation in the world from Shang Tang. Shang Tang admired him, so he removed Yi Yin's status as a slave and promoted him to prime minister. In 1600 BC, he assisted The Shang Tang in destroying the Xia Dynasty and establishing the Shang Dynasty. During his tenure as chancellor, he straightened out the administration of officials and gained insight into the people's conditions, so that in the early years of the Shang Dynasty, the economy was relatively prosperous and the politics were relatively clear.

When Taijia ascended the throne, he was faint and incompetent, and Yi Yin was soft and hard, and exiled Taijia to Tongdi (present-day Linzhang, Hebei) and built a palace to live for three years. Yi Yin governed the country by himself as regent. It was not until Taijia regretted it that he welcomed Back Taijia and restored the government, turning Taijia into a holy monarch.

Yi Yin served in the Shang Dynasty Shang Tang, Wai Bing, Zhongren, Taijia, and Wo Ding of the Shang Dynasty for more than fifty years, and made great contributions to the Shang Dynasty. In the eighth year of Wodin (1549 BC), Yi Yin died of illness at the age of 100. Wodin buried Yi Yin next to the Shang Tang Mausoleum with the gift of the Son of Heaven in recognition of his great contributions to the Shang Dynasty.
